I think the best thing to do is not to allow this thread to become amped up emotionally.

If you have a concern about something, please contact a moderator. Otherwise please just either pray for this girl, or do your part to not amp up the emotions as it is.


I don't think it's helpful to be tossing around speculations or to be asking for apologies within this thread.

If you have a legit speculation about something, please contact a moderator to deal with it. If you feel you need an apology or to make amends, then please contact the person nicely about it.

But please do your part to help keep the dramatics down. This site has enough to deal with. Thanks.

Imoss, sister PLEASE don't leave. We need you on here. You're VERY wise. I can understand where you're coming from on many, actually pretty much every aspect. Remember something, when you're under attack, it's the enemy being jealous! He wants to draw you away from God and how,when,and where God is using you. He wants to draw you away from being a blessing, and most of all to draw you away from God, do not allow that! You keep on keeping on. I personally love and appreciate you dearly. Don't let others get you down and out. I don't personally know Haley, but I do wish her and her family the best and everything. At the same time I agree, the attacks on you were uncalled for. I could say more about this, but I'll just keep my mouth shut. Stay here sister and allow God to continue using you if you feel it's right. Just ask Him what you should do. I love you sister, and may God continue to bless and use you so very much on here!

The reason I'm asking to keep speculations between you and a moderator is because doing that 'in public' here, just tends to escalate emotions and tensions.

You're being asked to settle your grievances with others in private for the same reasons. Making a blanket call for people to apologize just escalates already high tensions.

No one is being told their speculations and concerns don't matter. No one is being told their injuries from others don't matter. You're just being asked to resolve these in such a way emotions won't get further escalated.

We have plenty already to deal with.

I can see Still's point, I mean the mods are very busy all the time. I agree with Nod, maybe it should be closed. Anyone wishing to send prayers, words of encouragement, etc could easily do that in private messages on here. I like the idea.

I don't really know you or Haley.

I know if my child was in a coma I'd want a lot of prayer. And that's what this forum is for.

What I am about to say is simply in response to your post regarding "the mods". It was not me who asked you questions (as you mention about a mod in your post here), it was another moderator. But I appreciate him checking on these things.

We had a case just like this before -- a coma -- and everybody was praying up a storm in the chat rooms. Then we discovered that it was a big hoax. The guy who supposedly was in a coma had many different identities here, and it goes deeper than that, but I'll stop there. He was apparently a mental case.

Anyway, no moderator publicly said or questioned anything here in the forum or in the chat room, regarding this prayer request. One moderator asked you some questions in private. But since you are publicly referring to it, and saying that the moderator has gone too far, I'll publicly post here the reasons why that moderator felt the need to ask you some questions.

#1 Your IP address never changed since you were visiting Haley's house in another town (the past two or three days), and since you got home to your town (today). It's still the same. And it's the same IP address that the Haley09 username is presently using. It's pretty much impossible that your IP address at your home in your town would be the same as the IP address at Haley's house in the other city. Unless it's a web proxy/cache IP. But normally we can tell if that is the case. In this case it simply resolves to a dynamically allocated IP address with a certain broadband provider.

#2 Haley's registration email address on facebook is a profile with your face (and your name).

#3 Your registration email address on facebook is a profile with Haley's face (and Haley's name).

This is the same kind of thing that we noticed with the last coma hoax. One person had multiple identities. And he was using one identity to come in and ask for news about the guy in the coma (who was himself).

So I'm sorry to say that it is our job to check on things like this.

And the only reason I'm posting this is to respond to your public post regarding what a moderator has asked you.

And I myself asked you the same things just now, and looked at all the same IP address stuff, and confirmed everything that that moderator found.

I am not a mental case. I've been around here A LOT longer than Haley, I just think it's ridiculous how far people have actually gone and it's become an obsession, I'm sorry for the confusion, but I quit CC...I have been asked to have my account banned and deleted. I feel personally attacked, and what are you trying to prove? All I ask if for a little prayer. What I am doing by deleting my account is proving to you that when Haley get's back on she's completely real, and so is Kate. IDK what else to do or say besides I honestly feel that you have gone way to far, this is a website, I'm not a fake, I'm not mental, and I think it's wrong the way things were handled.

Lets like God do the work and stop trying to be him.If anyone noticed Haley gets worse when we fight we were standind togather she was fighting it and do much better and deed quiting CC isnt the answer you need to stand and fight.And we need to stand up as one body and pray Haley though this and if you have doubt then please keep them to yourself and pray for answers but as you would men do onto you do like wise.Think if you were in the same situation. I forewarn you all that some of you may not like to hear what I am about to post here. But the evidence is so overwhelming that 1still_waters and I both have decided to make these facts public. Some of this was already posted, but now there's more, and it's just too overwhelming.

But I have to tend to more important matters for a bit. I'm closing this thread until I get the facts posted here (hopefully within a few hours). Then you guys can do what you like with the facts, and respond as you like.

FACTS

1. The IP address of Deedster is the same as the IP address of Haley09/Katie, and for the past several days it never changed -- not even during Deedster's supposed traveling between cities to visit Haley.

Even after Deedster is supposedly back home in her hometown after supposedly visiting Haley in the hosptial, her IP addresss is still the same, and it is also the same as the IP address of Haley09/Katie. We have 10 years of experience dealing with user IP addresses. We carefully questioned Deedster about this, to make certain that she really claims to have visited Haley the past couple days (in another town), and that she also claims to be back home now in her town. And that is indeed what she claims. Yet her IP address never changed. And it's the same as the IP address of Haley09. She has no explanation for why her IP address never changes when she supposedly travels to another town to visit Haley09, and when she's supposedly back in her own hometown, and why it's the same as the IP of Haley09. She has no explanation, and we have no explanation, other than simple conclusion that all this posting from Haely09/Kaite and Deedster has actually come from the same location (perhaps even the same person).

Technical details: The IP address resolves to a dynamically allocated IP address of a major DSL provider. There is no indication that it's a proxy IP (like AOL's proxy which shows up as the IP address for different users). Also there is no indication that it's from a mobile device or mobile broadband (which could have explained why her IP never changed).

Normally this IP address evidence alone would be enough to establish that the person is lying about their location and activity. The only reason we didn't accuse her is because we were just hoping that there's SOME EXPLANATION that defies all that we've seen during our 10 years of experience in dealing with user IP addresses. But I'm sorry, there is no explanation that we can find, and there's even more to indicate deception. Read on.

2. The email address that Haley09 used to sign up for CC is Deedster on facebook (it shows Deedster's picture).

Well, Deedster's explanation for this is that she introduced Haley to CC, and even signed her up, using her own email address. But that doesn't explain the next fact.

3. The email address that Deedster used to sign up for CC is Haley09 on facebook (it shows Haley's picture).

And Deedster signed up for CC many months before Haley09 -- many months before she supposedly introduced Haley09 to CC. So the explanation that Deedster gave for fact #2 wouldn't explain fact #3 here.

Now the fishiness factor is pegged to the max. But that's not all.

4. Now since we made this public, Haley09's facebook profile (mentioned above in Fact #3) has suddenly been deleted.

It's very strange that a girl in a coma would or could delete her facebook profile, or that anyone would do it for her. (Don't worry, we have screenshots of it, for our records.)

And that's not all.

5. Haley's mother's very active facebook profile mentions nothing about Haley in a coma -- instead it gives updates on softball fun and traveling (during this time that Haley is supposedly in a coma).

There is a very active facebook profile of a woman with three kids: Haley, Katlyn, and Jaclyn (remember Katie said in this thread that there are three of them, and those are their names). The Haley of this mother, linked in her profile, has yet another facebook profile. It is not the same facebook profile of Haley that is mentioned above (which was deleted today). It is also "Haley" but with a different last name. It is not the exact same photo, but the girl in the photo appears to be the same girl.

So anyway, Haley's mom is posting all about traveling to somewhere (with great excitement) for a softball game, at the same time that it's being posted here that Haley is in a coma. Haley's mom says nothing about her daughter being in a coma. She's too excited about softball, and travelling to another town to see the softball. Note that the mom did post about *Katie* having an operation (not Haley). That was on May 28, and it was all cleared up. I note that simply to point out that it seems that Haley and/or her sister apparently do have some recent experience with these hospital things that she (or whoever) is posting about, which would make them more capable of staging something like this since they've experienced something similar recently with one of the sisters (not Haley).

CONCLUSION

We can't tell you who's who in all this, or if Deedster is a real person or not, or if the sister is involved in this or what, etc.

But now I'm sorry to say that the evidence is so overwhelming that we (admin and mods) have to conclude that this is some big attention-getting hoax.

Now I'm gonna make a side comment.

It's not the first. We had the same situation before, with a person having multiple identities that were actually like multiple personalities, and it was a big coma hoax, and everybody had been praying fervently in the chat rooms.

We also had a situation before where one of our moderators was taking on the identity of her dead husband and chatting with people as him.
