You ought to see the little one play tug of war with the big one. She's suspended in the air most of the time. Funniest thing.

I was going to ask what a sign up was, thinking that you signed up your pit bull somewhere, then I realized thou meant a warning sign. We put a fence up too all around the property. Not to keep the people safe, but the dogs.

At one time we had two Dobies. I don't think a sign would be enough here.

Never had a dog bite though. Pit bulls can be great dogs if loved and treated well.
He was an excellent dog....would play hide and seek with me, was good with kids, decent dog and only time he bit someone....went to work one day and a black lab hooked to a cable got in and he got wrapped up in it and I guess kept turning the same way trying to get out and hung himself.......feet like 3 inches off the ground......was a bad day for me...had him 6 years.....last dog that I owned......20 years ago

oh, am sorry. That's not the first time I've heard stories like this. Too bad. I know that pain. I won't have anymore either. Would worry who would take care of it if something happened to us.

A good example of the works of men not meeting God's standard and how foolish their attempts are at making the cut is found in Adam and Eve.....after Adam sinned and their eyes were opened they attempted to cover their shame themselves....just as workers for do today.....both alike are using leaves which will not make the cut.........

Notice....GOD had to SHED BLOOD and take care of their shame by making the covering HIMSELF....they did not HELP GOD and had NO part in HIS work, but freely accepted and were clothed with HIS covering which met his standard.....

SAME is true of salvation, it is a GIFT based UPON his work and his shed blood...we simply receive it and it meets HIS standards and covers us completely within and without......void of any effort ON OUR PART...............

I can so relate to this! :) We say, I believe in God, and then we try to work things out our way instead of relying on Him to work all things to our good in His own way in His own time. I was so aware of this at one point... and find as EG said, the more I rely on Him, the more I find He is faithful, and have learned the long hard painful way that trying to do things "my way" is not the best :)
No I mean I struggle to fully believe and not waver, for example, to not store treasure on earth or not worry how I will keep a roof over my head.

Right for entrance into heaven. We believe and receive His empowerment for works out of our union.

I see a correlation with the fig leaves that they covered themselves with, and Jesus cursing the fig tree. And Israel and the law too since the fig leaf is a symbol of Israel. But, then symbols are my thing. :)

I eat tomato, onion and mayo sandwiches with salt and pepper all the time. It NEVER occurred to me to put dill pickle or relish on them...stupendous, just by hearing it you can tell it would be good.

I make a combination sandwich - fried egg, bacon, mayo, dill relish and a touch of catsup. It's gooood! On toast.
Sounds great to me! I'll have 2 of everything!

Today is my "refeed" day as you know...;)...

All is conclusive of ALL and is directed at the word chaos and angry posts......not ALL of it is that way and even some of it that is perceived as angry and chaotic are not angry and or chaotic........there are any good biblical truths found in this thread and more than a dozen concepts covered regardless of the disagreement between those who teach the gift of eternal life based upon faith and grace as opposed to those who believe in a losable, worked for reward which must be maintained in some form or fashion.
