Post a picture of your circumcised ear, I want to see how different it looks. :)
lol. You will find out if you ask me a question like this, you will get a poem.

[h=3]Does anyone hear?[/h]

Does anyone hear,
that His comings drawing near?
Are you listening with an ear that's circumcised?

Have you heard it is the Son...
That in Him we all must run..
For no other way is given
To the Father?

It is only when we hear
Spirits Voice proclaiming clear,
That Trumpet call will pierce that ear...
and Sons Ship Rising!

Cough cough....a hatred for the false dogma pushed by a few........such as the following...

a. We keep ourselves saved
b. Jesus cannot finish what he started
c. Jesus needs our help to keep us saved
d. Sinless perfectionism
e. The words eternal as applied unto life = temporal
f. The seal of the Holy spirit can be broken like the lid on a bowl of left over lasagna
g. Salvation can be lost and gained like a dime in the park

and on and on and on.................
You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to dcontroversal again.

maybe I better pay my dues here. Lol

You DO realize you just said that obedience is faith & lack of faith is disobedience, right?
I thought you believed in a faith without works?
no, I believe works are of Holy Spirit not our own will. Led.

This is the conclusion I myself have come to after reading this over and over for years. Paul is describing his old life of trying to relate to God in the Spirit-less way of law alone. He discovered that only Jesus could set him free from sin and cause him to do what he tried to do by the letter of the law alone.
Atta boy P'
Paul writes much of chapter 7 in the present narrative tense...as if he were still there.
It throws the readers for a loop.
I believe God has allowed certain verses into the bible to weed out the servants of sin.
Verses like 1 John 1:8.

Hi Dcon, I agree with your statements. Seohce, "Are you a sinner", this is just more,
"faulty reasoning"

Christian's, true believer's, are on a "life long pursuit of holiness and service to God.", (our sanctification). The bible say's we will sin and if you do not believe this the truth is not in you. These sinless perfectionist people will have a rude awakening when Christ's return's for His Bride the Church.
That's odd, as I was sanctified when Jesus' blood was applied to me.
Just like the instruments of the temple and the temple itself.

Me too, but what I see in the present tense, is that Paul considers himself the worst of those saved...from sin.
If you still commit sin, you won't be saved in the end.
Romans 4:6-8
Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works, 7Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.
8Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.

I do not believe in sinless perfection, for we are still tempted, and have a choice,so we can sin if we desire to sin.
It is written..."There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it." (1 Cor 10:13)
Some people look for the escapes.
They are the ones who love God above all else.

Are you of the school that believes rebirth equates to two of you running around now?
I hope not, as we have been given the way for "the wages of sin" to be paid...by our death with Christ'
All that is left here is a man who walks in the Spirit and not in the flesh.

Again, I struggle with your version of scripture.
It clearly is in error regarding its interpretation of Paul's writing.
Paul is the "chief" of those saved from sin.
If you were saved from alligators, would you go back to playing with alligators?
Neither would Paul go back into sin: something he has been saved from.

It only dwelt in his body until his body was crucified, buried, and raised with Christ to walk in newness of life.

1 John 1:8 (HCSB)
[SUP]8 [/SUP] If we say, “We have no sin,” we are deceiving ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

1 John 1:10 (HCSB)
[SUP]10 [/SUP] If we say, “We don’t have any sin,” we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.

1 John 1:9 (HCSB)
[SUP]9 [/SUP] If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

The GREEK verb TENSE FOR confess is Present Tense, which is the Verb Tense in the Greek that implies it is an ongoing continous lifestyle of doing that VERB. NO YOU DO NOT CONTINUE TO CONFESS OLD SINS, YOU CONTINUE TO CONFESS EACH NEW SIN YOU DISCOVER IN YOUR CORRUPTIBLE BODY WITH A SIN NATURE THAT ONLY THE RESURRECTED BODY WILL BE FREE OF.

Look it up SINNER, and start learning what all GOD considers to be sin, and then CONFESS EACH AND EVERY ONE.

This is not about "sins" committed. Its about the nature of sin that we all have a bent to because we are born natural man. Of the earth, not heaven...until our new birth.
Your "new birth" happens after you have been crucified and buried with Christ. (Rom 6:3-6)
Kill the "natural man".
"The wages of sin is death."
Paul writes..."Some men's sins are open beforehand, going before to judgment; (death), and some men they follow after." (1 Tim 5:24)
Take the judgement now, and bring forth works of righteousness.

Why are you always attacking people's character? This person sees name calling and says something you put this on them? Exaggerate much?
Isnt what Dcon said true? I have often thought if I would of judged Jesus for turning the tables over in the temple.

dcon is no nonsense. And we will always know what he thinks. Won't back stab anyone being like this, and I would prefer someone upfront with me. Trust is easier then to establish.

Plus a lot is said in a joking manner.

Why are we taking things personally anyway. What another believes should not affect our faith if we study and are assured we have heard from above on a matter.

Can I ask what your view is of the following?
My simple thoughts.
1 Timothy 1:15
15 This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief.
Paul was saved from sin, and is the worst of those saved.
But to conclude that he still commits sin is an error.
He would certainly be a hypocrite for writing..."Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame." (1 Corinthians 15:34)

I am not a sinless perectionist and will never be.
Neiither do I use it as an excuse to sin.
My default when I sinned was to be like Adam.
That default changes after you have been reborn.
Remember though, that the old man must be crucified, and buried, before being raised with Christ to walk in newness of life". (Rom 6:3-6)

Taken years to get out of this mindest
Now when I sin I fess up and ask “Jesus help me to grow in you, be like you. May you increase in me so that I decrease”
That is my hearts desire.
Until you are a non-sinner, it is written..."God heareth not sinners" (John 9:31)

If anyone here can tell me that they do not sin then you claim to be Jesus, if so go back to 1 John 1 v 10
You have only described those who walk in the darkness.
Those who walk in the light have had ALL their sins washed away. (1 John 1:7)

Oh I am very famililiar with the symbolisms in the White Garments. I believe all the Saints Saved by the blood of Lamb will wear White Garments. In fact the Tribulation Saint too, get the same white garment, therefore the actual Wedding Ceremony will not start until the LAST Martyred TRIBULATION Saint arrives UNDER THE ALTAR. Why do you think the Entrance Portal to HEAVEN is Under the Altar.

Revelation 6:9-11 (HCSB)
[SUP]9 [/SUP] When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the people slaughtered because of God’s word and the testimony they had.
[SUP]10 [/SUP] They cried out with a loud voice: “Lord, the One who is holy and true, how long until You judge and avenge our blood from those who live on the earth?”
[SUP]11 [/SUP] So a white robe was given to each of them, and they were told to rest a little while longer until ⌊the number⌋ would be completed ⌊of⌋ their fellow slaves and their brothers, who were going to be killed just as they had been.

ANSWER:

Exodus 29:11-12 (HCSB)
[SUP]11 [/SUP] Slaughter the bull before the LORD at the entrance to the tent of meeting.
[SUP]12 [/SUP] Take some of the bull’s blood and apply ⌊it⌋ to the horns of the altar with your finger; then pour out all the ⌊rest⌋ of the blood at the base of the altar.

BECAUSE THAT IS WHERE CHRIST OUR HIGH PRIEST WOULD HAVE POURED OUT HIS BLOOD.

This artist did not read the verse thoroughly did he? It is to be put on the horns with the High Priest's finger, not a paint brush.

oh, am a bit disappointed though VCO. White means light. A garment of light. Jesus is the light of the world. Clothed with His Spirit shining through us. Can't get this any way except through Him.

The reason why the priests wore linen undergarments was because with linen, there is no sweat. It's a cool cloth on skin. Sweat by working is of the curse of the law.

We will only labor in working out salvation till we come to the knowledge of Jesus freeing us from that curse. Resting in Him. No sweat in rest.

But, you have a revelation of the portal. Not many know this. The temple was built on the altar of Jacobs rest from running from Esau. And there indeed is a gateway or portal to heaven. In the Holy of Holies where the Presence dwelled.

I didnt connect the martyrs though being under the altar and with Jacobs ladder.

Thanks!

Here are some about the men who walk in the light...
"And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments." (1 John 2:3)
"
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God." (1 John3:9)

"By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous." (1 John 5:2-3)
"We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not." (1 John 5:18)

"Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame." (1 Corinthians 15:34)

Funny thing about money changers and those who demand dedication and lottery
return of money given to the church tend to be these guys who say how you live
does not matter just what you believe. Odd that connection.....
nobody says this.

If obedience to God is a counterfeit gospel, I am inspired to keep fighting the "real" one.
Please don't make the mod's look for anything rude or demeaning, as it would be a waste of their time.
I adjure you in the name of Jesus Christ to love God above anything else.

. . .

I really dislike your version of the bible.
Your editors have missed the fact that in Romans 6:3-6 Paul gave up his old self, with it's nature.
It is the mind that rules the life of a Christian; and that mind is Christ's.

. . .
You do know the KJV was not a TRANSLATION from the original language manuscripts, it was a paraphase to update the English Language and correct known errors in earlier English Language Bibles? The Original Translators admitted that in the Original 1611 KJV PREFACE. Here you can read it for yourself: http://www.kjvbibles.com/kjpreface.htm
