Is that true though? God Himself is referred to as He, and angels are always male. And remember, the woman was taken out of the man.
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

And when it comes to classifying the Spirit in Greek it is listed as Neuter.....Gender wise that is.....

Then why does Jesus describe Him as He? Wouldn't the translation be "it" if it was the neuter gender?

Salvation won't be assured till after the final judgement.
It worked for those who had a living hope that goes beyond human hope. For who hopes from something they already have for a micro second and then crucify Christ over and over?

Heb 11:39 And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise:
Heb 11:40 God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.

works, without hope, with nothing to rely on but calling on the works to commend ones self?

or

faith, with nothing to commend ones self, a sure hope, trusting in the faithfulness of the God you call on?

hmm i wonder which one is the '
good news' of the gospel

Interesting concept and just the way it was translated by the translators....look at the Greek and see what the words originally meant......exactly why I say study every word from the original.....

Here is the word translated HE in the Greek

ekeinos: that one (or neut. that thing), often intensified by the art. preceding
Original Word: ἐκεῖνος, η, ο
Part of Speech: Demonstrative Pronoun
Transliteration: ekeinos
Phonetic Spelling: (ek-i'-nos)
Short Definition: that, that one there, yonder
Definition: that, that one there, yonder

The word translated HE WILL GUIDE YOU

hodégeó: to lead, guide, teach
Original Word: ὁδηγέω
Part of Speech: Verb
Transliteration: hodégeó
Phonetic Spelling: (hod-ayg-eh'-o)
Short Definition: I lead, guide
Definition: I lead, guide; met: I instruct, teach

the word translated HE WILL SPEAK

laleó: to talk
Original Word: λαλέω
Part of Speech: Verb
Transliteration: laleó
Phonetic Spelling: (lal-eh'-o)
Short Definition: I speak, say
Definition: (I talk, chatter in classical Greek, but in NT a more dignified word) I speak, say.

The word translated HE WILL DECLARE

anaggelló: to bring back word, announce
Original Word: ἀναγγέλλω
Part of Speech: Verb
Transliteration: anaggelló
Phonetic Spelling: (an-ang-el'-lo)
Short Definition: I announce, make known, report
Definition: I bring back word, report; I announce, declare

AND the word translated HIMSELF can be all three

heautou: of himself, herself, itselfOriginal Word: ἑαυτοῦ, ῆς, οῦ
Part of Speech: Reflexive Pronoun
Transliteration: heautou
Phonetic Spelling: (heh-ow-too')
Short Definition: himself, herself, itself
Definition: himself, herself, itself

AND the Greek text of the verse in JOHN

For by grace are ye saved through faith
For by grace are ye saved through faith
It is written..."That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord." (Rom 5:21)
ifI there is no righteousness, there was no grace.
If there is no grace, there won't be any righteousness.

Where do the unrighteousness fit into this equation?
Their sin will reign unto death.

Thank God for the miracles of repentance from sin and baptism for the remission of past sins.
For the gift of the Holy Spirit and for this promise..."
There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it." (1 Cor 10:13)

'God, I thank you that I am not like other people
-- robbers, evildoers, adulterers --
or even like this tax collector.'

now which of these is strong to save?

I don't know if its difficult for women being referred to as "sons of God" and such, but I guess it is, which is why some translations use "sons and daughters of God". Sometimes, I feel a bit strange being referred to as part of "the bride of Christ". :)
Some women may have issues with the phrase, "sons of God", some may not. We are all Children of God and all are one in Christ; neither male nor female, slave or free. Like your screen name says, Circumcised_Heart, it is a spiritual circumcision not physical, which I know you know. what I am saying is we are all one in Jesus Christ and I suppose most women will add this to their understanding of the bible. You could start a thread and do a pole if that may help; you may get some amazing results.

Some languages add a gender specific word to identify the sex to which you are speaking, and sometimes a cafe latte is just a cafe latte wherever you go. It is the spiritual that gives relevance to our life in Christ Jesus. For me their is no greater honor than being considered "the bride of Christ" because we will be forever with our Lord and Saviour.

"For in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God through faith." Galatians3:26

You asked me where Jesus the Holy Spirit must come to convict the world of its sin and that sin was unbelief in him.
That I duly did and you seem to reject it.
Your focus is too narrow.
Men will face the lake of fire whether or not they believe in Christ.

AMEN bro.........David described the blessedness of the man to whom God imputes righteousness without works...<---the righteousness of Christ imputed unto men by faith.....and the flip side....Jesus paid my entire sin debt.....ALL OF IT

This statement is not only ignorant, but contrary to the bible and satanic at it's core.....

He that believes on the son is having everlasting life and is passed from death unto life......they will not face the lake of fire....talk about ignorance...wow....!

This was my answer to you PJW...

You never had a tantrum fit about not getting a want? I can't remember if I did or not, but I know my children did until I spanked them. Same with the grandchildren but no spanking. Today we would end up in child welfare courts.

Death by the way, is separation from life. Think about it. Then ask yourself how death affects.

cont...

but the last line you read it as death seperating us from our life here on earth. I was speaking to your comment that death is not sin. The meaning i was thinking of "separation from life" is being separated from God, who is life itself. Eternally. Before the fall there was no death. Death affected us all through a fall from what innocence really is, affected health, and our very nature. Then placed us in a world corrupted, and cursed, and unprotected from spiritual enemies.

All but the very last enemy, death itself, is reversed through Jesus. And when He returns, that will be done with too.

So, Philip....our life here is very important to live it out to the full destiny that each of us has. Putting faith in the promises, and a renewed mind of faith that God has only good for us, even through we experience what we may view as negative happenings. We don't know all the ways that our life here is affecting others.

I sensed a bit of loneliness in your posts, Philip. We all long for our eternal home at times. But, Our life is more important to be alive than we may realize.
