You don't have to support anything. Here's where I think most Christians get it twisted. If your religion says you can't do something then by all means don't do it. But you don't have the right to tell someone else what they can't do.
But you have the obligation (as a follower of Christ) to speak truth to unbelievers even when the world hates you for it, Do it out of love.

Why shouldn't LGBT have rights? There are Americans just like we are. You can't deny in entire demographic of people their constitutional rights because you disagree with them... unless you're Hitler or something
What constitutional right is being denied to homosexuals?

I can think of MANY being denied Christians, but nary a one to homosexuals.

Doesn't really matter who's president. It's all the same.
The majority of our tax dollars are going to things that do absolutely squat for us

well if you are considering the Bible as a religious document rather than the word of God, you are actually putting it on the same level as Islam or any other religion

perhaps you need clarification of what it means to be a Christian?

you don't have the right to tell someone else what they can say or can't do either

which means you do not consider the import of your own words by telling someone they don't have a right while exercising your own right to say what you want in order to tell them that

which, I will conclude, just proves the fallacy of all these humanistic teachings that are actually anti-Christ in their origins

It was implied that they shouldn't have rights

Would you please tell me a single right that I have that a LGBT person doesn't have?

never mind. just vote for Trudeau again and pretty soon Canada will be a 3rd world country

I'm Canadian. I can say that

right

what you are really saying is when will white people let those who never actually contributed to anything but moaning and groaning have everything the white dudes worked for
I'm a card carrying member of the conservative party, skippy.

I'm sure all the black and Latino users here will appreciate your implication that they don't work or contribute.

Your rights end the minute you try to violate someone else's rights. I think mayonnaise is the most vile and disgusting substance ever contrived by human beings. It's very existence offends me. I can shout from the rooftops that I hate mayonnaise and that is my constitutional right. But my rights end when I try to say other people shouldn't be allowed to eat mayonnaise

Who implied homosexuals should be denied constitutional rights? I've read the thread and haven't seen anybody doing that.

all the so called rights in the world will mean zip when they stand in front of God

I mean does a person actually believe that will happen or not?

the rights of perverted sex are actually nothing more than permission to sin...problem is there is no such right where God is concerned

there is no argument of rights if you are a Christian

some people seem to think that God is going to sit down with a Charter of Rights, a Contract or a Constitution and have a nice fireside chat with those who think it covers their sins

like the Bible says, sin seems pleasant for the moment

eternity is a long moment and the government will not have a say

No. It has been stated that they shouldn't have the right to press their lifestyle on me or my children. I am already banned from pressing my lifestyle on them.

Good thing they're not doing that

Do a study on morality. Find out its ORIGIN.

LEARN the origin of morality. Then base moral judgement on THAT STANDARD.

Otherwise,you have abstract standards.
Its ok for me ti kill your dog because he was barking. If i say it is ok, them what the heck, cause it works for me.
If i can make up my own morality,as well as other's ,we are no better than animals.

BTW, Animals "know" better that to practice gay perversion.

Ironic statement considering the current GOP bill is raising your taxes so they can lower them for the millionaires.
Canada probably shouldn't be shaking their fingers at other countries about gov't and high taxes. And that is what the Dems want to put in place, free health care which in turn would raise taxes more than Americans care to know. Free health care is a misnomer,it costs a fortune in taxes.

False equivalency. Killing a dog is for barking and no way equates to someone being gay. And I think it takes a great deal of mental gymnastics even try to equate the two.
Religion doesn't own morality nor can you legislate morality. For the record I'm not atheist but I think it might be worth noting that some of the kindest people I know are atheist while some of the most hateful people I know are Christians.
The Atheist feels like his morality is from compassion and empathy as opposed to an ancient religious text. The Atheist isn't going to kill a dog just for barking because he has empathy for another living creature.

Roy Moore was a flawed candidate from the start. If the Republican Party continue to field candidates like him, the Democrats will not only regain the house, they will have a veto proof majority in the senate.

Christians need to wake up. We need to put up candidates that not only meet our standards, but are electable. Roy Moore was never electable.
Trump completely blew that concept out of the water.
All his republican challengers had your template in full array and lost.
We need radical conservatives, not the mushy men in skirts.
Roy moore was a mans man.
The liberal strategy to attack his integrity was satanic

It was insinuated that they shouldn't have rights, which is kind of ridiculous
They have all rights under the law, always have had except for marriage. And they didn't have that right because we have Judeo/Christian laws in this country and therefore marriage was sacred and between a man and woman. As it should be.But normalizing gays and gay marriage, helped out by liberal Christians, has now given them the right to marry.I don't agree with it and wouldn't attend a church that did. Other than that they have always had the same rights everyone else in the country has.
