it is the same God

how are you so blind?

adam and eve were married

and of one flesh.....

also atheists can be married

if it is man and woman

that is not against Gods will

they wont be judged for marriage but unbelief among their other sin
Is not believing a sin or is it ignorance?

both

sin is missing the mark

God writes His will on our hearts and calls us many times in our lifes

but we sear our hearts through other sin and become "willingly" ignorant if we remain in unbelief

Marriage predates Christianity.
So if you're going to argue God in the Bible then you will have to deny atheist marriage license as well
Far as I know there is no biblical principal or command that one has to love and believe in God in order to get married. That's not to say that all marriages are blessed by God. It does say that who God has joined together let no man put asunder. Of course, God has to join such couple in the first place. The bible does not deny secular marriages. In your example, at least the atheist couple was equally yoked. If it is now legal for gay couples to get married, fine. At least there won't be any child support issues down the road.

Some things seem irreversible. So also this idea of gay marriage. We should always fight and speak our mind when lawmakers go against the word of God but we should also respect and pray for our leaders.

The LGBT movement has won this battle and will try to expand their agenda. That is where we need to be. To prevent them go even further in their attempts to ruin the family and the marriage institution.

I give you some examples from Norway.
A couple of years ago the LGBT movement hijacked the church election and voted in pro LGBT in both local, regional and national church councils. Result: the church is now obliged to perform gay weddings in churches across Norway.
Also a couple of years back a vicar entered the church service waving a rainbow flag "repenting for the church's ill treatment of the LGBT movement (she happened to be an old classmate of mine)
The crown princess showed her support to a gay male couple and "their" baby, using her diplomatic rights to go to pick up the child from the surrogate mother in India.
The government supports free assisted fertilisation treatment of Lesbian couples from 2009. Gay couples have also the same rights to adopt and be foster parents.

So. What I am trying to say, the LGBT agenda is past the point of marriage, and we need to be there to stop it entering our churches and harming innocent children.

Yes. The world has gone mad. We should pray for our leaders and for our church leaders and try to be on top of the discussion. Not barking ten steps behind.

Supreme Court has ruled that denying same-sex marriage is unconstitutional and the religious right is collectively butthurt
Can you cite the Constitutional amendment that guarantees the right to marry?

And even if you could, how were homosexuals denied the right to marry before?
They could marry anyone they chose of the opposite sex.

As I said in my 1st post, Supreme Court rulings that flout the U.S. Constition will require Christians to have moral fortitude, and persecution by civilly disobeying in refusing to recognize the redefniing of a 6000 yr old, God ordained institution.

Just like When Christians were instrumental in opposing slavery, even in the face of similar immoral Supreme Court rulings protecting slavery.

That would probably be a good thing but the route of the wall would have to be changed. Better yet, just put a wall around Los Angeles and San Francisco to keep them and their liberal garbage contained.
and cement the tunnels

as it is, Colorado now has more than its fair share of kooks and illegals

I'm going to vote for the Constitution
The Supreme Court is the final word on what is or isn't constitutional and they made a ruling that denying same-sex marriage is unconstitutional
So God is to obey the constitution? Get over yourself. God has the final word and it is that all sinners who refuse to submit to Christ are condemned.

Christians vote their conscience not the constitution. Yes the constitution allows Christians to vote but their vote is to glorify God not the government.

You are more trusting of the government than the Lord and His word.

right

Romans 1 indicates that God turns those who refuse Him and continue with sexual sin...perversion...over to a reprobate mind

meaning what is wrong is called right

I've already said this about 157 billion times but I'll say it again. The Constitution has to be upheld because if you violate the constitution in favor of Christianity which you can't do because it's unconstitutional but anyway what's the stop someone else from doing the exact opposite and taking our rights away as Christians? You don't want to set that precedent

It says in the bible that a Christian should obey the law of the area that they live. There is a process to amend the Constitution but the procedure is burdensome, time-consuming and often fails. I don't consider the Constitution to be a sacred document but it is the best governing process in the world. It is the duty of the president to command the armed forces to defend the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic. You can thank the US Military for persevering the freedoms and rights outlined in this document. I agree with you because without the Constitution there would be no rights for anyone.

lol no one is hurt but those victimized by ungodly people. If you think you can say it's ok to be gay and preach the gospel to those who need Jesus and they can continue living the way they do. that is a false gospel .

Second you canot justfy sin by pointing out another sin.

and eating shrimp and having sexual relations with the same sex are not even in the same chapter LOL. And sexual sin in rom 1 and in the Gospels has never been changed . as far gay choir leaders go LOL that is that church fellowship .

Jesus told his disciples to go forth and preach the gospel but he never said go forth spread the gospel by force like the Catholic Crusades or something.
Some people are not going to follow the Bible. Some people are not interested in Christianity. It's not our place to make them.
Oh.. and Jesus never said go forth and legislate the gospel

Nope.
You have a constitutional right to speak your views on any given topic and I won't deny you that
You support gays having the right to dictate to others what they are allowed to say, and in fact you support gays having the right to force others to say things they would rather not, since those things violate their values. Therefore you stand opposed to the constitutional first amendment rights of Christians to stand by their values. You think it is okay for gays to walk into a shop and demand something that was NEVER for sale in that shop, and you support the government stepping in and holding a gun (figuratively speaking) to that shop owner's head and saying, speak the words the gays want or we will pull the trigger. In fact, the trigger was pulled, and that is exactly what the gay couple were after all along, and YOU have supported them all along, as if gay people have the right to demand goods and services from anyone just because they want them, and then play the victim when they are denied something that was never offered for sale in the first place.

Without the God of the Christian there would be no constitution. The Christian seeks no superior rights but that all may live in peace. Remember the pursuit of happiness? That means that if you are a pervert then keep it to yourself and do not flaunt it in public. We have not adorned adulterers with a scarlet a since the dark ages.

You have become like a bag of noxious fumes and you quite possibly have gone insane rejecting the purity and holiness of God and His people.

There were Christians long before there was a constitution. There was persecution of Christians long before there was a constitution.

Sodomites will never be blessed of God because they revile God. Sodomites do not need the constitution they need repentance before a Holy and Just God.

God has established the precedent. The abominable will not inherit the kingdom of God but are condemned to eternal destruction in the lake of fire. Horror beyond comprehension awaits those who hate God.

More on the game of homosexual politics.
Notice how the alphabet population and their supporters scheme to
take down Christian shopkeepers and service providers.
Yet these same people will not take on Muslims who really really hate
homosexuals with a passion. Their solution is to kill them by various means.

So how come Christianity is targeted as the enemy of 'gay' rights and lifestyles
but Islam that openly hates and despises homosexuality is never mentioned?
Hypocrisy is the hallmark of left-wing politics.

If the alphabet population is worried about the politics of the conservative
right-wing Christianity then they should worry even more about the rise of Sharia Law.
Zero tolerance is what applies under Sharia. There are no rights to co-exist.

I will agree with you on that point which is why I don't understand why the left so wholeheartedly Embraces Islam. There are Islamic countries where it is actually illegal to be gay
