I would like to point out something said by lightbliss earlier.

Your statement is a contradiction.

Don't take this the wrong way but maybe I'm the only one to notice that Mexicans, U.S citizens, and Canadians are all Americans, why, because Canada + United States + Mexico = the continent America.

So if "Americans" feel this way, then we all (U.S/Canada/Mexico) feel this way.

I'm afraid it doesn't work that way bliss. Just because all three of these countries are part of North America, does not make a mexican an "American" or a Canadian an "American"
For instance, do Canadian's refer to themselves as Americans? Do Mexicans refer to themselves as Americans? No, they do not, because although we live on the same continent they do not consider themselves to be American. They differentiate themselves from us.
Just because SOME U.S. Citizens feel Mexicans are all criminals and what not, does not mean Canada and Mexico feel the same way. That is a very stereotypical statement, simply because we do not know how each and every individual in Mexico, Canada, and the United States feels about Mexicans. No offense intended whatsoever, I simply had to point that out.

yeesh idk how this actually got started, BUT all i can say, is yes latino gangs are BAD. where i live there are so many. BUT I'm not, niether is my "illegal alien" husband, nor my parents, or all the members of our church. If the immigration came through here again, and took everyone, we'd be left without a church, and me without a husband. I was born and raised in the United States, and I'm proud to be Bi-national, but both countries, such as Mexico and the United States are going down. Both have just a little bit of time left before a great ruin. Maybe before that happens, there won't be anymore countries, as we will be a united world. But back to the point.

A few weeks ago, the immigration came by here and dragged a net looking for those people who are bad. They even took a white man! For reals! I am glad they came, because our community is now clean of all those criminals. But at the same time, no one knew what was happening and I feared for my husband. One day, I will make him legal, and one day, he will be a citizen of THIS beautiful country, and HIS beautiful country. God bless my Mexico, and God bless my United States.

(no all mexicans not generalizing again, there are mexicans that only go to break the law)
But aren't all people who come here illegally breaking the law?

Jesus told US

"when I was hungry, you gave me food,-when Lord?- when you gave food to one of them you gave food to me"

"God Will have mercy of peope who is merciful"
Didn't Jesus also say to obey those in authority over us? So by coming in this country illegally, these people are disobeying the authority of our government and laws set forth by the country they are wanting to be a part of.

What is going on here is that some are justifying the means by the ends. Yes, it's good that people desire to come and make a life in this country and that people have 'good intentions' bent on earning a living and focusing on family, BUT that doesn't give anyone the right to disobey the authority given by those whom God has placed in that position. So in disobeying authority, one is actually disobeying the command of God. Do I hate Mexicans or any other race? By no means. I believe all ethnic backgrounds are unique in their own right, but there is a way and a means of going about things and breaking the law to get here is unacceptable. Sorry, but it seems the message being given is this.....Hey, you want something really, really bad and it's not really a bad thing? Well then, by all means, do what you have to do to get yours, even if interferes with obeying the law, because, as we all know, the desire for that good thing should be a priority over obedience to the laws of the land as well as the commands of God.

Can I ask a question lil_warrior? Just wondering.. but if YOU are a US citizen.. and are married to a non citizen... why don't you just make him a citizen now? He is legally allowed to become one, because you are married. You marry a US citizen, and you have a free pass to become one... or am I wrong on this?

Also remember that is just a matter of getting cheap labour, it's not just a question of borders or who comes or who goes... Medium class also depends in the cheap labour to get cheap and avalaible, gardeners, maids..etc...

Too much labour means lower salarys. The question is, who cares of American popular classes victims of the cheapest labour?

Why isn't it right? Render unto Caesar etc...

And the Sabbath was made for man...Not vice/verse...

We should not obey unjust laws ....Why should some people have so much & others so little? Don't tell me it's God's will coz God gave us, as humans, free will.

The question should be - Who cares about The States? Coz, to be fair, the rest of the world is losing patience with you.

Unfortunately, there is no path for an illegal immigrant to legal status via a legal spouse. The american spouse and foreign national have to go back to the country that the illegal immigrant is from, and then file the appropriate documents. The exception to the rule is if the illegal immigrant legally entered the country via a tourist or student visa...and even though they might be expired, they can file for "forgiveness" and a change in status to the US government. I have personally known american guys who have married mexican girls who have been here illegally....and yes, they did have to move to Mexico temporarily (a year) as part of the process.
