Revelation 3:5
“He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.”

_____________

1 John 5:4 - KJV
For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

No. they were doing things without His Presence. The anointing upon and within.

We can do nothing without Him.
In all due respect this statement is just not true given what Jesus said. People can "Come in His Name", they can preach "in His Name" they can do many wonderful works "In His Name", they can build great religions, churches, doctrines, they can feed random poor people, send missions to further their man made doctrines and traditions, they can claim to serve God, all in His Name. They can "practice iniquity" while doing all these things, all in Jesus name and He doesn't even know them.

How can you make such a statement given what Jesus just said in this chapter?

Indeed this is true, about the supernatural veil, because I had one too!!
Good news ....with God all things are possible. :)

For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. – Romans 10:4

I mean, how obvious can you get? There's an apparently supernatural veil that's hindering people from seeing this.

Just so you know people. Offense is the biggest sign you are probably dealing with an unbeliever.
You see, my friend, you only get offended because you set yourself up to win an argument. And you keep losing.

This is not an argument. It's a matter of abundant and defeated life on earth. We lose nothing by preaching the good grace of Jesus to you. You lose everything (in this world) because you will go on living thinking Jesus gets disappointed in you when you fail.

“It’s a wonder you’re not a pile of ashes! The only reason God’s not ticked off at you is because Jesus did such an effective job.” - Andrew Wommack

every single person has worked iniquity

and every single person without the imputed righteousness of Jesus is a worker of iniquity

they trusted in their works

thats why they boasted their works to Him

but He NEVER knew them
I'm just posting what Decon refused to post. It's not me who is saying anything. Jesus said He rejected them because they were "Practicing iniquity" in His Name. Do you "practice iniquity" in Christ's name? Are you really preaching that "Everyone" practices iniquity in Christ's name?

Maybe you and Decon do, but Jesus NEVER taught us to "Practice transgressing God's Instructions" in Christ's name. It would be great if you could post scriptures where Jesus said it is OK to "Practice iniquity" in His Name since you are preaching that "Everybody" does.

what are you talking about?

this started because studyman was wrong about matthew

you then replied to him with some of your favorite gibberish

and now youre talking about works?

what works will save you ralph?

it is by Grace <- Gods grace
through faith <- answer to Gods call
that we accept the sacrifice God prepared and payed in full to be the atonement for our sin (Jesus Christ... God in the flesh)

are you adding to the Gospel again?
How am I wrong on Matthew.

These people all claimed to have faith in Jesus. Everything they did they gave Jesus the credit for. What part am I wrong about? Why did Jesus say He rejected them? For following God's Instructions? Or rejecting God's Instructions?

There can only be one true answer.

no flesh will be justified by the works of the law

its about

is Jesus righteousness imputed to you or not?

it will be if you are His

its by grace through faith

What is Faith? Creating your own religious traditions in Christ's name?

He said why He never knew them in black and white. They claimed to know Him, they claimed to serve Him, but they rejected His Fathers instructions. How is this wrong?
they are sinners

as is every single man and woman who walked the earth not named Jesus

they boast "but did this and that" in order to saved before Jesus

but Jesus NEVER knew them

they NEVER were born again

don't feel bad, I proved him wrong weeks ago, he just does not know it. yet. if he does not quit lying, on judgement day, he will find out.

oh, he thinks Acts 15 puts gentiles under the law, which it does the opposite of.
