No, you never had any cool to lose. Also, I really enjoyed the humor in Locutus gif, hilarious!

For the record, I couldn't care less what others here think about me when I challenge their errant beliefs, and when they come against my biblical beliefs, name call &c.

Your above is merely an opinion of a brother, showing that not only do you lie about others, but hold hatred in your heart towards brothers. Both are spoken of in Scripture and point to a not so good spiritual state.

But you're not interested in looking at your own sins and failures on here, and accepting the fact that many on here have called you out for lying.

Many people.

Some of your problems are that you spend much time trying to convince others they don't believe what they believe, that they live in sin, that they aren't then born from above, while giving yourself a pass on lying. You are obsessed with this and repeat it ad nauseam, even when told that these things are not believed or practiced. That's all I am saying, it's a known fact you do this, and somehow you think you get a pass for this.

Very interesting, I'd say that you're deceived about yourself thinking what you preach only applies to them but not to you.

Why is it, "Ralph-" that you continue on in this sin?
If you pay attention (and I know you do, for other readers) he/she uses the same statements, verbiage and pushes the same drivel that the last two that argued incessantly on a Present belief to remain saved or works to keep it......both false I might add!

No need to ignore you, you don't offend me. I'm really concerned for your soul, that you preach to others that they may be lost, that they practice sin, that therefore they won't make it in. While you lie about what others say on a regular basis.

Let's face facts, when you chimed in on this thread, and I made a few posts, over and again you accused me of believing something that I did not believe at all, you stated my doctrine as whatever you wanted no matter that you were proven wrong. This practice of yours, twisting what was said, not listening, lying, accusing, condemning.

You have no ability to offend me. Your lies and accusations find nothing in me because they are false.
Another one used to say the same thing......about being put on ignore....

Faith in who. The long haired playgirl centerfold you all created and place the Holy Name of Jesus on?
This shows how ignorant you are and how flat your false gospel really is.....is that all you have...drivel to spew or bloviaiting.....You can take the words "you all created" out and quit lying...

if you think you can be perfect as He is without His imputed righteousness you are in error and seek to be justified by your own righteousness

and you will fall short

Galatians 2:16
16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
Not to mention the word perfect means complete....not perfection....that's ok though...he will find out how wrong he is....albeit too late though!

You insult Jesus Word's not mine. He said clear as a bell, in a language even a child could understand, why these people were rejected. It was because they refused to walk in the Righteous instructions of God, and created their own religion with their own version of righteous works.

I can see how this might sting you.
Keep dreaming worker for.....see how that works out for you

Well finally you preach something the Bible agrees with. We will all be judged by our works. If you "believe", as did those in Matt., that you can create a religion that rejects God's Instructions, then Jesus has already gave you the judgment.
Actually, I have been all along...your lack of vision and being brewed in religious Cainology has kept you from seeing it......

For years this passage use to mean to me "Gosh, if these dudes are professing Jesus, AND DOING all these things, I better reeaally buckle down, and get working!!"

I believe God's Grace has worked in my heart to discern this. So what is the iniquity Jesus is talking about? I am convinced it was relying on THEIR works, which are filthy rags, instead of His Work on the cross.

An example of these people could be Jehovah's Witnesses. I have personally seen them do great works for the poor and destitute, preach jesus, and (by human thinking) live godly lives. Yet we all know they don't profess the Jesus of Scripture. Not believing He is God in the Flesh and other heresies. It seems to me that they could be of those that say"Lord, Lord....".

Also, it cannot be emphasized enough, that Jesus NEVER knew them, or maybe clearer, made a new creation in them. Jesus didn't say" I knew (created a new heart) you at one time, but between the sins you committed after that, and the lack of works you did, depart from me and enter hell"
Amen bro....

You're the one who claimed to be Calvinist. How does that make me a liar?

Seriously, put me on ignore so I can respond to everyone's posts here without your distractions and interference. Start talking doctrine and stop attacking and falsely accusing. That's what I'm here to do, expose your false doctrines.
THERE YOU GO YET AGAIN.

You are once again, making sure you use the CALVINIST name, to insult other Christians.

Maybe you would do well, to examine yourself.

1 Corinthians 11:28-29 (NASB)
[SUP]28 [/SUP] But a man must examine himself, and in so doing he is to eat of the bread and drink of the cup.
[SUP]29 [/SUP] For he who eats and drinks, eats and drinks judgment to himself if he does not judge the body rightly.

Romans 14:4-6 (HCSB)
[SUP]4 [/SUP] Who are you to criticize another’s household slave? Before his own Lord he stands or falls. And he will stand. For the Lord is able to make him stand.
[SUP]5 [/SUP] One person considers one day to be above another day. Someone else considers every day to be the same. Each one must be fully convinced in his own mind.
[SUP]6 [/SUP] Whoever observes the day, observes it for the honor of the Lord. Whoever eats, eats for the Lord, since he gives thanks to God; and whoever does not eat, it is for the Lord that he does not eat ⌊it⌋, yet he thanks God.

1 John 4:20-21 (NASB)
[SUP]20 [/SUP] If someone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen.
[SUP]21 [/SUP] And this commandment we have from Him, that the one who loves God should love his brother also.

Seoche:
Romans 10:8-18 But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. As the Scripture says, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame.” For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? AND HOW CAN THEY HEAR WITHOUT SOMEONE PREACHING TO THEM? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” But not all the Israelites accepted the good news. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our message?” Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and THE MESSAGE IS HEARD THROUGH THE WORD OF CHRIST. But I ask: Did they not hear? Of course they did: “Their voice has gone out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world.”

stones:

I'm with you here. If you truly believe the Word in our mouth and heart is what we proclaim, then you are WOF. :) Now, how do you know what the Lord wants you to proclaim in a personal way? To yourself and to others?

Seoche:
Luke 10:16 “He who listens to you LISTENS TO ME; he who rejects you rejects me; but he who rejects me rejects him who sent me.”

stones:
exactly. We must be born of His Spirit which if not, we are none of His. Then we live a life of love, not emotional feeling, though that can occur, but of agape. His live, mercy, and compassion flowing from living water. Forgiving just as we are forgiven.

The must being our new birth.

Seoche:
Hebrews 4:12-13 For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.

stones:
the point is the Word dividing soul and Spirit. Can you explain?

Seoche:
Ephesians 1:13-14 And you also were included in Christ WHEN YOU HEARD THE WORD OF TRUTH, THE GOSPEL OF YOUR SALVATION. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory.

stones:
The seal is sealed. Get it? :) Eternally. This is the Kings choosing and marking our Spiritual being with His royal stamp of approval. I agree we receive a measure to begin, but as we grow up into the image of divine being, Light, glory increases. Works because of union will bring glory to His name!

Seoche:
John 16:13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; HE WILL SPEAK only what he hears, and HE WILL TELL YOU what is yet to come.

stone:
How does He tell us?

Romans 2:13 For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God’s sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous.

stones:

rightly divide Seoche. For one thing, we His body, are not those who just repent and turn from sin to law. We are those who are birthed in Spirit. A new creation of people never seen on earth before. So these following scriptures are speaking of those who were not taught Torah, but in their own conscience know there is a God. Know that sin is wrong. And turn to laws or being good. The tree of knowledge of good or evil working. They will be judged by this at the GWT. Now read..

12 All who have sinned outside the framework of Torah will die outside the framework of Torah; and all who have sinned within the framework of Torah will be judged by Torah.

13 For it is not merely the hearers of Torah whom God considers righteous; rather, it is the doers of what Torah says who will be made righteous in God’s sight.

14 For whenever Gentiles, who have no Torah, do naturally what the Torah requires, then these, even though they don’t have Torah, for themselves are Torah!

15 For their lives show that the conduct the Torah dictates is written in their hearts.c Their consciences also bear witness to this, for their conflicting thoughts sometimes accuse them and sometimes defend them 16 on a day when God passes judgment on people’s inmost secrets. (According

Seoche:
John 12:47-48 “As for the person who hears my words but does not keep them, I do not judge him. For I did not come to judge the world, but to save it. There is a judge for the one who rejects me and does not accept my words; that very word which I spoke will condemn him at the last day.

stones:
dont reject Him. Only His works save us. Any works we do reflects Him.

Seoche:
John 14:15-24 Jesus Promises the Holy Spirit “If you love me, you will obey what I command. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever— the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him.” Then Judas (not Judas Iscariot) said, “But, Lord, why do you intend to show yourself to us and not to the world?” Jesus replied, “If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. He who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me

stones:
Make sure Holy Spirit is our source. He is our empowering grace.

Seoche:
1 Thessalonians 2:13 And we also thank God continually because, WHEN YOU RECEIVED THE WORD OF GOD, which you HEARD FROM US, you accepted it not as the word of men, but as it actually is, the word of God, which is AT WORK IN YOU WHO BELIEVE.

stones:
amen

Seoche:
Romans 3:3-4 What if some did not have faith? Will their lack of faith nullify God’s faithfulness? Not at all! Let God be true, and every man a liar. As it is written: “So that you may be proved right when you speak and prevail when you judge.”

Stones:
exactly.

"Now for this very reason also, applying all diligence, in your faith supply moral excellence, and in your moral excellence, knowledge, 6and in your knowledge, self-control, and in your self-control, perseverance, and in your perseverance, godliness, 7and in your godliness, brotherly kindness, and in your brotherly kindness, love."-2 Peter 1:5

Your 'it just happens, and if it doesn't happen, it does't matter because salvation is not by works and once you are saved you are always saved' theology is not Biblical. Peter is not teaching a works gospel. But when we say what Peter says it's suddenly a works gospel.

telos is not end it is goal;

Romans 10:3, "For not knowing the righteousness of Yah, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they did not subject themselves to the righteousness of Yah."

This is a much misunderstood passage, for it would be sticking up forthe pharisees who made their own law if misunderstood, it was exposing those who would not submit to Yah but again made their own “way”

Mat 15:2-3, "
Why do Your disciples transgress the traditions of the elders? For they do not wash their hands when they eat. But He answered, and said to them; And why do you transgress the Laws of Yahweh by your traditions?"
Romans 10:3-4, "For not knowing the righteousness of Yah, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they did not subject themselves to the righteousness of Yah. For Messiah is the goal of the ‘Torah unto righteousness’ to everyone who believes."

For not knowing the righteousness of Yah, and seeking to establish their own righteousness;

Mat 15:2-3, "Why do Your disciples transgress the traditions of the elders? For they do not wash their hands when they eat. But He answered, and said to them; And why do you transgress the Laws of Yahweh by your traditions?"

We can not earn Salvation by only obedience to the Law of the Creator, as James said and as Yahshua Himself said it takes faith and works. Romans 10:4 is a verses mistranslated in the majority of Bibles thus blurring the lines of truth. Christ is not “the end of the Law” but rather Yahshua showed the intent, ultimate result or goal (telos) of keeping the Law of YHWH.

The word translated “end” is word#G5056, τέλος, telos, tel'-os
From a primary word τέλλω tellō (to set out for a definite point or goal); properly the point aimed at as a limit, that is, (by implication) the conclusion of an act or state (termination [literally, figuratively or indefinitely], result [immediate, ultimate or prophetic], purpose); specifically an impost or levy (as paid):—+ continual, custom, end (-ing), finally, uttermost. Compare G5411.

Lets look at places this word is used in the Konie Greek originals to get an idea of it meaning and context;

Romans 10:4, "For Christ is the end (telos) of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth."

Romans 10:4, "For Yahshua is the ultimate result (telos) of the Law unto righteousness for everyone who believes."

1Peter 1:9, "Receiving the end (telos) of your faith, even the salvation of your souls."

1 Peter 1:9, "Receiving the ultimate result (telos) of your faith – the salvation of your souls."

If the its the end of the Law aka Law is done away or at an end in Romans 10:4 then faith must also be done away or at an end in 1 Peter 1:9. Unless of course “telos” means the goal.

Greek Dictionary (Lexicon-Concordance) - #G5056 telos {tel'-os} from a primary tello (to set out for a definite point or goal)

HELPS Word-studies – 5056 télos (a neuter noun) – properly, consummation (the end-goal, purpose), such as closure with all its results.

James 5:11, “Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end (telos) of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.”

James 5:11, “See, we call those blessed who endure. You have heard of the endurance of Iyoḇ and saw the purpose(telos) of יהוה, that He is very sympathetic and compassionate.”

1 Timothy 1:5, “Now the end (telos) of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned.”

1 Timothy 1:5, “Now the goal (telos) of this command is love from a clean heart, from a good conscience and a sincere belief.”

Greek Dictionary (Lexicon-Concordance) - #5056 telos {tel'-os} from a primary tello (to set out for a definite point or goal)

HELPS Word-studies – 5056 télos (a neuter noun) – properly, consummation (the end-goal, purpose), such as closure with all its results.

Romans 6:22, “But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end (telos) everlasting life.”

Romans 6:22, “But now, having been set free from sin, and having become servants of Yah, you have your fruit resulting in set-apartness, and the goal (telos); everlasting life.”

Romans 10:4, "For Christ is the end (telos) of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth."

Romans 10:4, "For Yahshua is the ultimate result (telos) of the Law unto righteousness for everyone who believes."

The word is used in the sense of the end result, the goal, the outcome, not in the sense of the obliteration of the Law…

1 Timothy 1:5, “Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned.”

1 Timothy 1:5-7, " But the goal* of our instruction/command is love from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith. For some men, straying from these things, have turned aside to fruitless discussion, wanting to be teachers of the Law, even though they do not understand either what they are saying or the matters about which they make confident assertions."

You know Hiz, you would do better with The Complete Jewish Bible. Translated by a Jew so am sure you would receive. *maybe*

10 1 Brothers, my heart’s deepest desire and my prayer to God for Isra’el is for their salvation;

2 for I can testify to their zeal for God. But it is not based on correct understanding;

3 for, since they are unaware of God’s way of making people righteous and instead seek to set up their own, they have not submitted themselves to God’s way of making people righteous.

4 For the goal at which the Torah aims is the Messiah, who offers righteousness to everyone who trusts.

No.

I was pointing out the offense that comes out of people in this thread when you start talking about the necessity to obey.

It's like telling a 2 pack a day smoker they should stop smoking or they're going to die. Anyone who's done that knows what I'm talking about. You get the same response here when you say people need to believe God and have the works that prove you believe God or else you'll be rejected when Jesus comes back.
The foundation of the Righteous One, our Lord Jesus, has never needed anyone to add to the blood sacrifice He poured out for ALL. You are on shaky ground Ralph.

This is what I've been saying, but you and others can't hear it for some reason.

No, I posted the passage that describes where Jesus himself will be reviewing our 'performance', as you put it. All we need to do is not quench the Spirit (1 Thessalonians 5:19) and obey God when the impulse to obey rises up in us. We don't need to boast about that. He'll do all the boasting for us when He comes back. That's right in the Bible. I've been showing you all this. But you keep hearing it as 'do works in your own strength so you'll earn your own salvation now and when Jesus comes back'.

Impulse? Man....

That is an excellent question. How does a man, who has repented from his ways and turned to God's Ways in repentance and humility, reject God's Instructions? The answer? They don't.

These in Matt. 7 were deceived by "Many" who come in Christ's Name, who preach that Jesus is truly the Christ, just like Jesus warned about. They "Believed" helping their fellow man in Jesus name was a righteous work. That "preaching" a doctrine in Jesus name was a righteous work. But they had actually created their own religion, and rejected God's Instructions as did the Pharisees, and Jesus rejected them for it.

Were they born doing this, or did they repent and "change" and go to this church, or become part of this religion that calls Jesus Lord, Lord? I would say "many" changed, became a "new man" when they changed from their "Old Self" to a religious person who did all things in Jesus Name. I'll bet you every one of them would have said they were filled with the Holy Spirit if you had asked them. The Whole point of this story is that they were "Deceived" into believing something about themselves that wasn't true.

You see, because I believe EVERY Word God/Jesus inspires, and not just the teaching of a huge organized religion that calls Jesus Lord, Lord, I have considered these questions years ago.

The Bible doesn't teach me to go from a lifestyle that Transgresses the commandments of God by my fleshy traditions, to a religion that Transgresses the Commandments of God by their religious traditions. Matthew 7 certainly teaches us that. Just changing which Words of God I reject means nothing.

I get that you probably are not able to understand these Words, but my hope is that you will. Consider the following Question regarding the same Matthew Chapter.

13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

Answer me this; Why would "MANY" want to be on a Path that leads to destruction? If the teachers of this Path stand on a street corner and declare "Follow us on this Path to destruction" would "many" follow them? Of course not. They don't tell the truth about their Path, they deceive. "Come follow us on this Path to eternal Life". Many would follow that path as did those who called Jesus Lord, Lord.

Didn't the serpent do the same thing to Eve?

14
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

How do you know you are on this narrow Path? Everyone believes they are on it, but Jesus just said "FEW" find it? Are you somehow immune from deception? Well maybe you are but I'm nothing special. I am not more powerful than the Pharisees or those in Matt. 7 Jesus warned about. So I place my faith and Trust in Him and His Instructions. He has created a FOOL PROOF test for me to know if I am on the right track or not and I believe Him.

1 John 2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

Talk about the simplicity of Christ. All I need to do is look in a mirror and using God's Judgment, judge myself.

1 Cor. 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

Gal. 6:3 For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.
4 But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.
5 For every man shall bear his own burden.

Lam. 6:40 Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the LORD.

So I am trying to share a viewpoint, a man that has been freed by the Grace of God, from the influence of the "MANY" that come in Jesus Name, calling Him Lord, Lord.

I see differently than you. Only because Jesus is true and He always keeps His Promises. I see a religion called "Christianity" that calls Jesus "Lord, Lord. They have created images of this Lord in the likeness of some long haired men's hair shampoo model, a direct sin against the First and Greatest Commandment.

I see a religion that has rejected God's Sabbath that He created for them, and created their own, just like the Pharisees did.

I see a religion that has created its own great High Days and Feasts unto the Lord, and have taught against God's Own Holy Days.

These are just a few of the man made doctrines and religious traditions todays religions have created, there are many more. Those living in and practicing this iniquity don't know they are in trouble. Jesus is warning us all to snap out of it before "That Day". He doesn't do everything for you SOF. You have to make the choice first.

1 Cor. 15:34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.

Eph. 5:14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

Sadly most people prefer darkness.
You totally missed the point. Iniquity has been circumcised by unseen hands. We live in Christ Jesus, righteousness, His.

I know you don't think about sinning or obeying. I fear this is the problem.

1 Cor. 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

I just don't believe we can each of us create our own Salvation and instruction thereof.
No, I've gone through a time of capturing thoughts. It lessens with countering thoughts with the Word. And praying in the Spirit.

Resting in His work is the first step to walking or even works. It's a spiritual truth, not natural. :)

I understand your preaching. But Jesus did say why they were rejected, they were for rejecting for refusing to "Keep His Sayings". so He didn't manifest Himself to them. I know this isn't believed in modern preaching just is wasn't believed in the preaching of Christ's time.

Well if you actually responded to what I state that would be something.

If you think that receiving from God is not conditioned on faith then you are Freegrace.
You misrepresent Calvinism and you misrepresent Freegrace.....it is very sad.

No reputable person in this school of theology, unless they are some renegade causing trouble, would agree that anyone receives anything from God apart from faith.

You are not making a good case when you ....umm ...I will be kind and say.... misrepresent the truth of the doctrine to bolster your own position.

There is nothing I can't respond to. If you're talking about your post. I will respond to it if you want me to. I honestly think it a waste of time since you are hardened in your doctrine and won't be able to hear anything I say. I had hope for you, but I see you are not able to see. But if you want I will respond to your post.
