UNREPENTANT SIN WILL KEEP YOU OUT OF GOD’S KINGDOM

KNOWN UNREPENTANT SIN will keep you out of God's Kingdom.

If we do not REPENT of our SINS and our FAITH does not work by LOVE that produces the FRUIT OF OBEDIENCE you WILL be lost.

The FRUIT of OBEDIENCE that works by LOVE through FAITH IN GOD'S WORD is the Gift OF GOD in those that FOLLOW GOD'S WORD and WALK IN HIS SPIRIT.

OBEDIENCE to GOD'S WORD and KEEPING ALL GOD'S COMMANDMENTS through FAITH is a SIGN that of the true believers because they follow God's WORD by faith in love (Revelations 12:17; 14:12:22:14; 1 John 2:3-4; 1 John 3:3-10; Romans 13:8-10).

IF your life has even ONE KNOWN UNREPENTANT SIN it is enough to KEEP you OUT of GOD'S KINGDOM as your FAITH does not have the FRUIT of OBEDIENCE and is dead and if there is NO FRUIT then the tree must be cast down and burned (Matthew 7:16-27; James 2:18; 20; 26)

For example it is written...........................

Hebrews 10
26, For IF WE SIN WILLFULLY AFTER THAT WE HAVE RECEIVED A KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH, THERE REMAINS NO MORE SACRIFICE FOR SINS,
27, BUT A FEARFUL LOOKING FOR OF JUDGEMENT AND FIERY INDIGNATION, WHICH SHALL DEVOUR THE ADVERSARIES.

Hebrews 6
4, For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
5, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
6, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
7, For the earth which drinks in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and brings forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God:
8, But that which bears thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.

1 John 2:2-4
3, And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
4, He that saith, I know him, and keeps not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

1 John 3:3-10
3, And every man that hath this hope in him purifies himself, even as he is pure.
4, Whosoever commits sin transgresses also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
5, And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
6, Whosoever abides in him sins not: whosoever sins hath not seen him, neither known him.
7, Little children, let no man deceive you: he that does righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
8, He that commits sin is of the devil; for the devil sins from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
9, Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
10, In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever does not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loves not his brother.

Psalms 1
5, Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
6, For the LORD knows the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

2 Peter 2
3, And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingers not, and their damnation slumbers not.
4, For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;
5, And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;
6, And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an example unto those that after should live ungodly;
7, And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:

Jude 1
14, And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,
15, To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

Ecclesiastes 12
13, Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
14, For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

Isaiah 1
28,
And the destruction of the transgressors and of the sinners shall be together, and they that forsake the LORD shall be consumed.

Isaiah 13
9, Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.

Isaiah 33
14, The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?
15, He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil;
16, He shall dwell on high: his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure.

Proverb 8
36, But he that sins against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death

Ezekiel 18
4, Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.
20, The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.
21, But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.
22, All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him: in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live.
23, Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: and not that he should return from his ways, and live?
24, But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned: in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die.
25, Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. Hear now, O house of Israel; Is not my way equal? are not your ways unequal?
26, When a righteous man turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and dieth in them; for his iniquity that he hath done shall he die.
27, Again, when the wicked man turneth away from his wickedness that he hath committed, and doeth that which is lawful and right, he shall save his soul alive.
28, Because he considereth, and turneth away from all his transgressions that he hath committed, he shall surely live, he shall not die.
29, Yet saith the house of Israel, The way of the Lord is not equal. O house of Israel, are not my ways equal? are not your ways unequal?
30, Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.
31, Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel?
32, For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves , and live ye.

Proverbs 28
9, He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.

Ezekiel 33
10, Therefore, O thou son of man, speak unto the house of Israel; Thus ye speak, saying, If our transgressions and our sins be upon us, and we pine away in them, how should we then live?
11, Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?
12, Therefore, thou son of man, say unto the children of thy people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression: as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall thereby in the day that he turneth from his wickedness; neither shall the righteous be able to live for his righteousness in the day that he sinneth.
13, When I shall say to the righteous, that he shall surely live; if he trust to his own righteousness, and commit iniquity, all his righteousnesses shall not be remembered; but for his iniquity that he hath committed, he shall die for it.
14, Again, when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right;
15 , I f the wicked restore the pledge, give again that he had robbed, walk in the statutes of life, without committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die.
16, None of his sins that he hath committed shall be mentioned unto him: he hath done that which is lawful and right; he shall surely live.

Romans 6
23, For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) If we break any one of the ten we stand guilty before God of SIN (James 2:8-11) and need to repent and seek his forgiveness (Proverbs 28:13; 1 John 2:1; 1 John 1:9). Those that continue a life in known unrepentant sin will not enter into God's Kingdom (Hebrews 10:26-27)

There is NO SCRIPTURE that says that God's 4th commandment has been ABOLISHED and we are now COMMANDED to keep Sunday as a HOLY day

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has lead many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God?

May God bless you as you seek him through His Word.

Apart from BELIEVING, doing counts for nothing (John 6:40; Matthew 7:21-23). Which acts of obedience/works are you trusting in for salvation? Obeying the 10 commandments? Keeping the sabbath day holy? Have you PERFECTLY obeyed the 10 commandments? How do you answer the question, "What must I do to be saved?" (Acts 16:30)
We are SAVED by GRACE through FAITH and not of ourselves it is a GIFT of God and not of WORKS lest anyman should boast (Eph 2:8).

However if your FAITH does not have the FRUIT of OBEDIENCE then you are still in your SINS because you have rejected the GIFT of God's dear son (James 2:18, 20. 26)

If you have no FRUIT then your tree will be cast down and thrown into the FIRE (Matthew 7:12-23, Hebrews 10:26-27).

LOVE is the fulfilling of God's LAW in those who walk by FAITH in God's Spirit (Romans 13:8-10; Romans 8:1-4; Romand 3:31)

If you do not LOVE how can you know God when God is LOVE (1 John 4:8)?

He that says I KNOW him and keeps not his Commandments is a liar and the truth is not IN him and even his prayer shall be an abomination (1 John 2:3-4; Prov 28:9)

.................

In times of ignorance God winks at but now ,<when a KNOWLEDGE of the truth has come> calls all men everywhere to REPENT (FOLLOW) (Acts 17:30-31).

There is not one scripture in all of God's Word that says that God's 4th Commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to KEEP Sunday as a Holy day.

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) If we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

By the time I receive an answer to that question (after terms are re-defined and verses in the Bible are taken out of context in a 1000 word essay by LGF), the end result is salvation by “grace plus law, faith plus works”. Subtle mixture of law and grace which is a perversion of the Gospel. (Galatians 1:6-9) :(
The problem I have with your gospel is you must reject so much of God's Word for it to be true.

You create a "Death Bed Conversion" doctrine and end up placing all your evidence on an "s" and the end of one word in Matthew who didn't even recognize the repentant criminal.

You preach the Pharisees were trying to earn salvation by keeping God's Laws. Yet EVERY Word of Jesus regarding the Pharisees exposes this preaching as false. You use one sentence, or may be two from Paul and twist it to void every Word of Jesus regarding the Pharisees, as well as ALL the Law and Prophets prophesies regarding the Pharisees.

You preach that God's Instructions are "Rudiments of the World" "Vain Deceit" and "Tradition of men" in Col. 2. You preach that Jesus Battled AGAINST God, Spoiled God on the Cross, Made a show of GOD openly. And Triumphed over God on the Cross. You ignore that the Pharisees had created their own Laws and that they had pushed their own Laws on man for centuries. You ignore the Biblical fact that Jesus sent Prophets to correct them, but the mainstream preachers of their time murdered them. You reject the Biblical fact that God then Sent Jesus to set them straight, and they killed Him too. Not because they were following God's Instructions, but because they had created their own.

And several on this form have risked your hatred and the hatred of your religious friends to try and show you these truths as Jesus and the Prophets tried to show the mainstream preachers of their time. And you call them false preachers just like they did to Jesus, the Prophets and Paul when they tried to save them from the same deceit.

Your religion is not God's Salvation. Your gospel is not the Gospel of Christ. The Pharisees were not trying to obey God, they were following their own religion that they created as it is written over and over and over in the Word of God. And you are doing, or at the very least, following the same program as the Pharisees.

Of course, as was the Serpent, so also will there be "Minsters of Righteousness" who are set forth for this very purpose, to test the faith of the Believer. It's not for you that I write this and subject myself to the scorn of your friends, but to those who SEE the hypocrisy of this mainstream teaching, the rejection of God's Words and the foolishness of the preaching that repentance doesn't include "Works" worthy of repentance.

It is for them that I write this post.

If the Commandments, the Word of GOD is in one's heart, mind and mouth what will they be doing? If it is not?

True or false; By their fruits they shall be known?

Absolutely, it is indeed by their fruit that they are known to be God's people or not (Matthew 7:20). Even the devils believe but they do not follow (James 2:19). It is only those who BELIEVE and FOLLOW that are God's people. Only God's Word is true and we should BELIEVE and FOLLOW it...

now dan, you know these folks do not answer questions. ( that is why there theology is not real. l.g.f. wrote a 1000 word essay on how reading Acts 15 and 16 is not proper context, while plucking chapters and verses out of different books of the Bible, connecting them, and writing his own commentary . that sound reasonable to you?)
Well that is simply only lies and has no trith in it whatsoever. Your claim was that Acts 15 means you are free to sin and break God's Commandments. You were shown through scripture that your interpretation disagrees with God's Word.

Here is the post for all to see..... POST # 3922 linked.

Now my friend you have been shown through scripture that your interpretation of God's Word is not according to scripture. If you disagree please respond to the post and all the scriptures in them.

Simply saying you do not agree with God's Word does not magically make your words true and God's Word disappear.

If you cannot you should BELIEVE and FOLLOW the Word of God. SIN will keep all who practice it out of God's KINGDOM.

so, you made a post earlier where you pulled chapters and verses out of nine different chapters, left verses out the chapters, did a lot ( 1000 words ) of opinion commentary, then in my post where I point this out, you say my post is full of lies.

well, anyone can see what you do, anyone can read Scripture in context, and anyone can see what you do. pluck and conjoin, write commentary , and call it God's word.

anyone can say a duck does not quack or swim, and then anyone can observe a duck doing what it does. and see the one saying it does not do theses things is wrong. or lying. or is delusional. or all the above.

This is sad for you my friend. The scriptures in POST # 3922 linked testify against you that your interpretation is out of CONTEXT if you do not BELIEVE God's Word is true then this is between you and God. You can always adress the post and scriptures that disagree with you but you cannot because you have built your house on sifting sand and you have no scripture to support your case.

Very clearly it can be seen in the opening scripture of Acts 15...

v1. And certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved.

This is the CONTEXT; certain Jewish believers coming to the gentiles and saying that Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved. This is the whole foundation upon which you build your argument that God's 10 Commandments are no more.

The scriptures in POST # 3922 linked testifies against your interpretation of the scriptures and showing your interpretation is out of CONTEXT? Please by all means if you do not believe this to be true, state your case and answer the post and the scriptures in the post.

Please, if you disagree with anything else I have posted earlier address the post and scriptures in them with scripture?

If you cannot it only shows everyone that you do not have any scripture to support your view. This only shows you are building your house on sand and great was the fall of it. Now you have nothing to support your view.

So sad for you my friend so sad. You teach against the God's Law and the prophets something Jesus never did. So sad so sad. Those who do such things will not see the KINGDOM of HEAVEN.

Happy Sabbath

Good post brother. Did you compile all the information yourself?
Revelation 12:17, “And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to fight with the remnant of her seed, those guarding the commands of Yah and possessing the witness of יהושעMessiah."

Revelation 14:12, “Here is the endurance of the set-apart ones, here are those guarding the commands of Yah and the belief of יהושע.
Being that HIS Word, HIS Commandments; His Statutes and Commands from the Book of the Law have been placed in our hearts, minds and mouths. We Keep these in the sense of guarding because they become part of us. Wherein we do them because they are part of who we are. We are a new creation in Christ Jesus. He was to be the first among many brethren. To those that receive HIM, to them gives HE power to become the sons of GOD, even to them that believe into HIS name.

So Prepare ye the way of the LORD. For in him we live, and move, and have our being, For we are also HIS offspring.

But from Exod 12 onwards the Old is to ISRAEL specifically, the New is to the church worldwide.

I do not see the New agreeing with the Old, otherwise why have a NEW? The Old was in the letter, the New in the Spirit, the letter kills, the Spirit gives life.
Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart. And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward: Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God. For it is HE that works in us both to will and do HIS good pleasure! Christ in us the Hope of Glory!

Give ear, O ye heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth, the words of my mouth. My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass: For the LORD our GOD will circumcise our hearts and the hearts of our seed. For righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ (Anointed; GOD's commands and statutes written in the Book of the Law. In other words the Word; the Divine utterances) down from above Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ (Anointed; GOD's commands and statutes written in the Book of the Law. In other words the Word; the Divine utterances) again from the dead.) But what saith it? The word (the Divine utterances; Christ the Anointed; GOD's commands and statutes written in the Book of the Law.) is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: (that thou mayest do it) that is, the word of faith, which we preach.

Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before.

Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, (and we shall be one flesh) saith the LORD.

But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD:and of their sins and their lawlessnesses shall I under no circumstances still be reminded.'

May God bless you as you seek him through His Word
Amen brother.
The Gospel is to enable.

GOD's will, HIS Commandments, HIS Word is to be but an impulse. It being in our hearts, minds and mouths we have been changed or are changing depending on how much we go (walk) with the Faith; HIS Spirit working through us. This is the grace in which we stand, and are to be rejoicing in. The expectation of the glory of God. The manifestation of HIS children through HIS Son. Christ in us the expectation of Glory!

Not to be configured to this age, but to be transformed by the renewal of our mind, that we may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

The problem I have with your gospel is you must reject so much of God's Word for it to be true.
The Gospel that I preach is the same Gospel that the apostle preached which is the "good news" of the death, burial and resurrection of Christ (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) that is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that BELIEVES.. (Romans 1:16). I don't reject any of God's Word, but I reject the perverted gospel of SDA's that teach salvation is by "grace plus law, faith plus works."

What is the other Gospel?

It is a Gospel that tries to separate God's Law (10 commandments) from the Cross. The counterfeit Gospel is out there. It is a Gospel that tries to separate God's 10 commandments from the plan of salvation.

God’s Law has always been part of the true Gospel of Christ. The counterfeit Gospel does not have it. God's forever Law (the 10 commandments) is the foundation of both the Old and the New Covenant and the very foundation and basis of the true Gospel of Christ.
You create a "Death Bed Conversion" doctrine and end up placing all your evidence on an "s" and the end of one word in Matthew who didn't even recognize the repentant criminal.
What do you mean by I "create" a "death bed conversion doctrine?" I don't preach to others to wait until their death bed to be converted. In our discussion about the thief on the cross in the "If we're saved by faith" thread, I was simply pointing out that it's highly unlikely the thief was previously converted, water baptized, and the fruit of that is being crucified as a thief. DJ2 (who teaches that water baptism is absolutely necessary for salvation and is absolutely obsessed with water baptism) believes otherwise.

In Matthew 27:39-44, we see that those who passed by, along with the chief priests scribes and elders blasphemed, mocked and shook their heads at Jesus and EVEN THE ROBBERS WHO WERE CRUCIFIED WITH HIM REVILED HIM WITH THE SAME THING. More fruit? I certainly don't see being crucified as a thief, blasheming, mocking and shaking your head at Jesus as being the fruit of repentance/faith. Yet, moments later, we see that the thief had a "change of mind" (repentance) placed his faith in Christ for salvation and was saved (Luke 23:40-43). Of course, he died before having the opportunity to be water baptized.

*You even said in post #177:

Well, I guess that one "s" in a gospel which didn't even mention the repentant thief is the defining key to this disagreement.

I didn't catch that.

Thanks for showing this to me. I'll have to consider this to be sure
.
You and I actually had a civil conversation in that thread. Yet now you seem to be back peddling.

http://christianchat.com/bible-discussion-forum/162359-if-were-saved-faith-9.html

Show me where I preach that. The Pharisees neglected the more important matters of the law - "justice, mercy and faithfulness” (Matthew 23:23). They focused on the letter of the Law and set out to obey it with pride, but they missed the weightier things of God. Their religion was external; their hearts were not transformed. Jesus referred to them as blind guides, white washed tombs, hypocrites! etc..

In the parable of the Pharisee and the Tax Collector, we read: Luke 18:9 - Also He spoke this parable to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others: (THAT SOUNDS SO FAMILIAR) 10 “Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. 11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, ‘God, I thank You that I am not like other men—extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this tax collector. 12 I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I possess.’ (NOTICE ALL THE "I's") 13 And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me a sinner!’ 14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”

You preach that God's Instructions are "Rudiments of the World" "Vain Deceit" and "Tradition of men" in Col. 2.
Straw man argument.

More straw man arguments that are leading us away from the main point of this discussion.

And several on this form have risked your hatred and the hatred of your religious friends to try and show you these truths as Jesus and the Prophets tried to show the mainstream preachers of their time. And you call them false preachers just like they did to Jesus, the Prophets and Paul when they tried to save them from the same deceit.
False preachers preach a false gospel. SDA's and those in the Hebrew Roots movement have no truth to show me or my brothers and sisters in Christ. We are not fooled by their subtle mixture of law and grace that is a perversion of the Gospel (Galatians 1:6-9).

Your religion is not God's Salvation.
I don't have a religion and Christianity is not about a religion. It's about a relationship with God and Jesus Christ is God. John 17:3 - And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent (which is an intimate, experiential knowledge, found only in a relationship). The term "know" implies intimate, experiential knowledge, through a relationship with Him, not merely theoretical knowledge.

Who are you to judge me with these false accusations?

Your gospel is not the Gospel of Christ.
My Gospel is the Gospel of Christ which is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that BELIEVES.. (Romans 1:16). Galatians 1:11 - But I make known to you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man. 12 For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came through the revelation of Jesus Christ.

In this age, therefore, there is a distinctive element to the content of the Gospel which is called "the mystery of the gospel" (see Ephesians 6:19 and compare with Colossians 1:26-27; 4:3). This new revelation is that the Gentiles are fellow-heirs and fellow-members of the body, and fellow-partakers of the promise (Ephesians 3:6). Such equality—Jew and Gentile united together in one body—was previously unknown. The distinctive message of the church is that Jew and Gentile alike may believe the Gospel and be united together into ONE BODY (Ephesians 1:13; 1 Corinthians 12:13).

The Pharisees were not trying to obey God, they were following their own religion that they created as it is written over and over and over in the Word of God. And you are doing, or at the very least, following the same program as the Pharisees.
LOL! I don't even come close to following the same program as the Pharisees and the irony here is staggering!

Of course, as was the Serpent, so also will there be "Minsters of Righteousness" who are set forth for this very purpose, to test the faith of the Believer. It's not for you that I write this and subject myself to the scorn of your friends, but to those who SEE the hypocrisy of this mainstream teaching, the rejection of God's Words
You are the master of irony.

and the foolishness of the preaching that repentance doesn't include "Works" worthy of repentance.
Who said that repentance does not result in works worthy of repentance? Sounds like another straw man argument. In Acts 26:20 we read, "I preached that they should repent and turn to God and prove their repentance by their deeds." This is the fruit of repentance (Matthew 3:8) but not the essence of repentance (to think differently or afterwards reconsider--after thought change of mind) and not the means of our salvation. We are saved by grace through faith, not works (Ephesians 2:8,9).

It is for them that I write this post.
You are only fooling the already fooled. :(

Hello MMD,

NO my friend you do not preach the same Gospel the Aposles preached. You indeed teach what the bible calls "a different Gospel". It is not the same as the one that Jesus and the Aposltes taught.

Jesus and the Apostles did not break God's Commandments and teach others to do so. Those who do such things are those we are warned about and who Jesus calls "least in God's Kingdom of Heaven" because they do not enter it.

You have time to REPENT and BELIEVE the Gospel (God's Word) as God is patient and longsuffering to those who are humble at heart and not willing that any should perish. This is your decision of course and is between you and God.

............

If the Commandments, the Word of GOD is in one's heart, mind and mouth what will they be doing? If it is not?
External obedience to the Commandments does not mean the Word of God is in one's heart. What are you trusting in for salvation? Obeying the 10 commandments? Keeping the sabbath day holy? Have you PERFECTLY obeyed the 10 commandments? Is that what you are trusting in as the means of receiving eternal life? How do you answer the question, "What must I do to be saved?" (Acts 16:30)

True or false; By their fruits they shall be known?
True and salvation by "grace plus law, faith plus works" is rotten fruit (Romans 3:28; Galatians 2:16; Ephesians 2:8,9) that is a perversion of the Gospel (Galatians 1:6-9).

lol you can't produce ONE verse in the eplstles which supports your observing what you call the fourth commandment. Not ONE.
And yet here we have them all through the NEW Testamand magically appearing not one but how many?

God's Law (10 commandments) repeated in the New Testament

1 You shall have no other gods before Me.
It is written: You shall worship the Lord your God and Him only you shall serve. (Luke 4:8; Matthew 4:10; Revelation 14:7)

2 You must not make for yourself a carved image, a likeness of anything in heaven, on earth, or under the sea.
God is Spirit and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth. (John 4:24; Acts 15:20; 1 Corinthians 6:9; Ephesians 5:5; 1 Peter 4:3; 1 John 5:21; Revelation 2:14)

3 You shall not take the Name of the Lord your God in vain.
(1 Timothy 6:1, James 2:7)

4 Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
The Sabbath [seventh day] was made for man, not man for the Sabbath, so the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath. (Mark 2:27-28, Hebrews 4; Matthew 12:8; Matthew 12:1-8; 10-12; 24:20; Mark 3:1-5; Luke 6:1-10; 13:14-16; 14:1-5; John 7:22-23; 9:14; Mark 1:21; Mark 6:2; Luke 4:16; 31; Luke 14:1; 23:56(Mark 2:28; Matthew 10-12; 24:20; Mark 3:1-5; Luke 6:1-10; 13:14-16; 14:1-5; John 7:22-23; 9:14; Mark 1:21; Mark 6:2; Luke 4:16; 31; Luke 14:1; 23:56; John 2:6; Matthew 16:24; 1 Acts 13:14; 13:27; 13:44; 15:21; 16:13; 17:2; 18:4; Revelations 1:10
Is binding on all mankind today COL 2:14-17 THE REAL TRUTH THREAD (Linked)

5 Honour your father and mother.
Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. (Ephesians 6:1; Colossians 3:20; Matthew 15:4; Matthew 19:19)

6 You shall not murder.
I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. (Matthew 5:44-45; Matt. 5:21-26; Romans 13:9; 1 Timothy 1:9; 1 John 3:15; James 2:11; Matthew 19:18)

7 You shall not commit adultery.
I say to you whoever even looks at another in lust has already committed adultery in their heart. (Matthew 5:28, 1 Cor. 5:11, 1 Cor. 6:18, Galatians 5:19, Hebrews 13:4, James 2:11, Matthew 19:19, Romans 13:9)

8 You shall not steal.
Neither thieves, the greedy, or drunkards and robbers will inherit the Kingdom. (1 Corinthians 6:10, Romans 2:21, Mark 7:21, Ephesians 4:28, Romans 13:9, Matthew 19:18)

9 You shall not bear false witness.
For by your words, you will be justified and by your words you will be condemned. (Matthew 15:19, Ephesians 4:25, Col. 3:9; Matthew 19:18, Romans 13:9)

10 You shall not covet your neighbours possessions.
Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one’s life does not consist of the things he possesses. (Luke 12:15, Romans 7:7, Ephesians 5:3, 1 Tim. 6:10, Hebrews 13:5, Romans 13:9)

There is a lot of scriptures here and we have not even looked at all the scriptures in the NT on the 10 commandments on which the 4th commandment is one of the ten.

Amen! He can't produce ONE verse in the NT that proves keeping the sabbath day is binding on Christians under the New Covenant, but he can quote multiple verses, take them out of context and twist them into saying what he wants them to say in order to accommodate his biased SDA agenda, but he is not fooling us for one second. ;)

Sabbath keeping with all it's rules and regulations, was part of a covenant with Israel that is not binding on Christians under the New Covenant.

*Colossians 2:16 - Therefore no one is to act as your judge in regard to food or drink or in respect to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath day 17 things which are a mere shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ.

Even when SDA's set out to worship on the Sabbath, are they truly "keeping the Sabbath?" To "keep the Sabbath" as it was required in the Old Testament under the Old Covenant would involve compliance with specific regulations (Exodus 16:23; 35:3; Leviticus 23:32; Jeremiah 17:21) that were strictly enforced.

If Sabbath day observances are still required, so would the burnt offerings which went along with them (Leviticus 19:30; 23:2-3; Numbers 28:1-10; 29:39-40; I Chronicles. 23:30-31; II Chronicles 31:2-4; Isaiah 1:13). So no kindling a fire in any of your dwellings on the sabbath (Exodus 35:3). Every man must remain in his place (no traveling) on the sabbath (Exodus 16:29). No trading (Amos 8:5). No marketing (Nehemiah 10:31; 13:15,19).

These were commanded by God to Israel under the Old Covenant (Exodus 35:1) and not to the Church under the New Covenant.

If the seventh day Sabbath is still in affect, then why don't SDA's seek to obey ALL that the LORD commanded? How someone keep a certain law when he keeps only part of it?

If the Sabbath day laws were still in effect today, then according to Exodus 31:12-18; 35:1-3; and Numbers 15:32-36, anyone who profaned the Sabbath was put to death and any person who does any work on it, that person shall be cut off from his people.

Who is going to enforce that? The Jewish synagogue? The Seventh day Adventist church? The Government? Since we do not live under a theocratic state as ancient Israel did under the Old Covenant, no Sabbatarian can live consistently under these Mosaic regulations.

SDA's play the same game in salvation as every other false movement of Christendom. They profess to teach that salvation is by grace through faith, but then re-define this in a way that is contrary to the Truth. Even though they deny this, they teach that salvation is by "grace plus law, faith plus works." Their doctrine of salvation is a subtle mixture of law and grace that is a perversion of the Gospel (Galatians 1:6-9). :(
