And there isn't any creative act in Genesis 2.
Which Bible are you reading? Are these verses missing?

And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

Only atheists that ignore the geological facts claim the flood didn't happen. The evidence is overwhelming. Creation.com has documents proving this. It is an international scientific Christian organization. Creation Ministries International is its name.

The flood did happen. And it was widespread. It covered the whole world as known to Middle easterners of the day.

Seems most Christians want to interpret Genesis 7:19-20 as meaning the, must be sea levels, rose so high that they were 15 cubits higher than the world's tallest mountain.

Some computations say the amount of water needed for that is at least 2 times more water than exists in all the oceans.

Where did all that extra water come from? And then, how did it evaporate so quickly?
A day is coming when there will be no more oceans or seas, and all that water will return from whence it came.

Another long post. I read the first part of it. That human analogy doesn't fit all of the Bible. Eschatology is a very hard to understand part of the Bible. Symbols galore that have multiple possible meanings. Of course I have read and listened to those who predicted things explaining what the symbols mean. ALL FAILED!!!

Any one claiming they know them has been drinking too much kool-aid. I mean you DiscipleDave!!!

So, can anyone google a scientific answer as to how a sediment layer of well sorted materials can be laid down slowly over long spans of time?
Can someone explain to me how God can make a full grown tree in a matter of saying the word and "Poof" there it is with all of its hundreds of rings inside of the tree?
Can someone explain to me how God can instantly turn water into the best wine at the wedding? Doesn't it take a long time to make a really good wine? How did Jesus do it instantly.
Can someone explain to me how God causes a few loaves of bread and a few fishes into hundreds of them, INSTANTLY?

The same way we can't explain those things, is the reason we can't explain how God created the Earth in 6 days even though it appears to be billions of years old. People they are called MIRACLES.

Tell me, If God so desired do you think He could create the Grand Canyon in a single hour? Really you don't think God of the Universe could create the Grand Canyon in an hour? What kind of God do you worship and serve, that Can't do that?

I can love you even when you post silly concepts about end timest Especially since they run contrary to what theologians for centuries have come up with. Even saying you got a personal message from God through an angel!!

Need to go back to the Old Testament method of dealing with prophets! Any failure is a death sentence.

Which of the two following statements is more Godly?

And I suppose you believe, in that day, there will be no sun and moon either?

or

Dave are you saying that you believe there will be no sun or moon either?

If you want to know, then merely ask and not assume something that may cause offense to a brother or sister in the Lord.

There will be a Sun and Moon, as long as the Earth is present, and the Earth abideth forever.

As long as they are not contrary to the Word of God, contrary to men i am OK with that 100%.

Even saying you got a personal message from God through an angel!!
i have told you now three times it is not from Angels but from God, i doubt you will hear it this fourth time.

Need to go back to the Old Testament method of dealing with prophets! Any failure is a death sentence.
Amen. Scriptures plainly teach that if anyone says something is from God and it is not from God, that person will die. And not only will that person die, but that persons family will die as well, so does Scriptures teach. Thank God that God actually did tell me what He did, else not only would i die, but those that i love will die to. What i teach is from God, if that is the TRUTH, then it is the TRUTH. if that is a lie, then i will die and burn in Hell for all eternity, and my family will all die as well.

And who whispered to you that i thought there was no water at the start of creation? i never said that nor did i even imply that anywhere at all, that belief is in your own head.

There is no need to call someone names just because they present information that you don't appreciate. The post that you quoted did not espouse atheism, anti-theism, or anything contrary to Christianity. It simply presented an assertion. I don't particularly like it either, but that doesn't make it less true.

As for Trofimus, he is most certainly neither ignorant nor a windbag. I haven't met him personally, and I don't agree with him on everything, but from what I have read of his on this site, I would consider him a Christian brother.

actually the process of when that water is being returned is what is bad for the inhabitants of the Earth, but once it has returned, Age is restored to prior flood conditions, a person can easily live a thousand Earth years. Once it is returned, Living water will proceed out from the Holy City to cover the whole Earth, wheresoever the water touches or is near to will become like the Garden of Eden.

So it will be horrible for the inhabitants of the planet during the process, but will be Great for the Saints after it is accomplished.

Hi DD

What about
Job 38:1-11
Chapter 38
The Lord Reveals His Omnipotence to Job
1 Then the Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said:
2 “Who is this who darkens counsel
By words without knowledge?
3 Now prepare yourself like a man;
I will question you, and you shall answer Me.
4 “Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth?
Tell Me, if you have understanding.
5 Who determined its measurements?
Surely you know!
Or who stretched the line upon it?
6 To what were its foundations fastened?
Or who laid its cornerstone,
7 When the morning stars sang together,
And all the sons of God shouted for joy?
8 “Or who shut in the sea with doors,
When it burst forth and issued from the womb;
9 When I made the clouds its garment,
And thick darkness its swaddling band;
10 When I fixed My limit for it,
And set bars and doors;
11 When I said,
This far you may come, but no farther,
And here your proud waves must stop!’

Yes well sorry Disciple Dave, the no sea part you seemed to take pretty literally, but not the sun and moon part.

I guess you read the sun and moon as like a metaphor for the gods called sun and moon or something like that...

Is that literal or figurative? If it's literal than heaven sounds like a dull place to be.
