I suddenly thought, I am being exalted to the level of a teacher.

Thankyou for the complement, but I have only one teacher, the Holy Spirit, and I share
what He has brought to my heart. I pray that it might be a blessing and help.

And to be honest if a Free Grace believer calls me a false teacher, Amen, I would seriously
worry if they did not find my sharing a challenge. God bless you all
What you say and a complete disregard for the scriptural truths posted disagrees with your assessment about concerning who teaches you......just saying

Grace is free.....and the Word tells us that....you obtained the Holy Spirit by....hmm....what was it again? Oh yeah, GRACE!!! Did you work for it? Umm......well let's see, I didn't work for mine, I just believed in my heart that Jesus was my Lord and Savior and BOOM, He sent me the Holy Spirit. My question is.........how did you work to receive yours when mine was free?
Free Grace is a school of theology.
There is little point me commenting further.

For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life.
Therefore, he who rejects this instruction does not reject man but God, who gives you his Holy Spirit.
1 Thess 4:7-8

Until you can face God who tells you this, there is not anything more I need to say.

That's your interpretation. It doesn't mean it's the only one or the right one. There can be various reasons for adding someone to ignore. Not just one single, negative concept you see.
And due to your limited view it causes you to make assumptions or judge the heart/capacities/situation someone is in.
We sometimes have users that will follow another user around the site and constantly attack them or their posts.
Also you have no idea what one may be going through in their lives making it more difficult for them to cope with things and they may need the relief.
Yet you assume it's only intolerant people that use it.

And you tall about others inability to use control, but when someone makes it clear they don't want to hear you you then encourage others to pass your message on, showing a lack of respect and a lack if control and a need to be heard no matter what. All the while insulting that person's character.

No wonder they put you on ignore. Insulting someone with a smile and a friendly time is still an insult, no matter how you mask it.
Thank you for recognizing my interpretation.
This is actually progress that I am allowed an interpretation.

1 John 3:24, “And the one guarding His commands stays in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He stays in us, by the Spirit which He gave us.”

John/Yahanan 12:48, "He who rejects Me, and does not follow My words has One Who judges him. The word that I have spoken, the same will be used to judge him in the last day."
It is NOT that we obey that will be judged, it is WHY WE OBEY. IF IT IS NOT OUT OF GOD'S LOVE THAT HE HAD THE HOLY SPIRIT PUT IN OUR HEARTS, THE MOMENT WE WERE SAVED, YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN, AND YOU CANNOT SAVE YOURSELF.

Romans 5:5 (HCSB)
[SUP]5 [/SUP] This hope will not disappoint ⌊us⌋, because God’s love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

John 14:24 (HCSB)
[SUP]24 [/SUP] The one who doesn’t love Me will not keep My words. The word that you hear is not Mine but is from the Father who sent Me.

1 John 3:14 (HCSB)
[SUP]14 [/SUP] We know that we have passed from death to life because we love our brothers.
The one who does not love remains in death.

1 John 3:17 (HCSB)
[SUP]17 [/SUP] If anyone has this world’s goods and sees his brother in need but closes his eyes to his ⌊need⌋
how can God’s love reside in him?

1 John 4:7-8 (HCSB)
[SUP]7 [/SUP] Dear friends, let us love one another, because love is from God, and everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.
[SUP]8 [/SUP] The one who does not love does not know God, because God is love.

EVERY VERSE IS TALKING ABOUT THE GODLY LOVE THAT HE PUT IN US. NO Godly LOVE, you are not SAVED, and never have been.

This right here is the same crap Peter pushed.....very judgmental as it judges one's heart and motive and to be honest is nothing more than your twisted opinion!
If my belief about being saved is crap, so is yours, since both come straight from the same bible.

Why is it so hard for you to state that faith alone is what saves a man....end of story!
That is because it is not the end of the story. It is just the beginning of the story. Charity is the end of the story. Do you know why?

We are all allowed to discuss our interpretation.
That's why we have this forum and threads within it.

The issue is how we convey our interpretation.

Check out the clear message of Mark 16:16?

Key word I take from His words is Believe.......and that believe comes from the heart, in believing in Him as the Son of God. It's all an issue with the heart, whether in your heart you believe in Him, or you reject Him (disbelieve)

The Church where I was baptized and learned the fundamentals of the faith would not allow any new member to have a ministry until they were active with the membership for about one year. The reason for this rule was as you say "Pride" Most Churches will offer a "Fundamentals of the Faith", class. These classes are small (4 to 10 people)and designed to give you a solid foundation of your new born faith where you may grow and become fruitful in the work of the ministry of the Church.

"Empty trucks make more noise" and I would bet that a lot of these winers about doing their wonderful works to keep and maintain their eternal salvation are doing just that, crying at nothing and blowing a lot of hot air. A true believer does not need to brag about how many good works they may have, God knows the motivation of each believers heart. Pride is the original sin and it will kill any good ministry.

I will ascend above the tops of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High." Isaiah14:14
Your first paragraph is exactly why the Lord does not save people and justify people just because they say they believe. He wants to see them grow and develope and make sure they have no pride before he announces that his grace is sufficient and you are sanctified and finally justified to come into my Kingdom.

Just like you must prove your members before they can have a ministry, God proves us before He announces we are saved.

Thank you for that insight into your church. Good model to follow.

Greeting dcontroversal,

Let me humbly put a simple point to you, that you may have missed.
God is judgmental. The lake of fire is judgmental. Judgment is judgmental.

The problem is not the judgments but who is judging. We stand before the
King of Kings, condemned and found guilty, our hearts found unclean and
impure, in need of change, forgiveness and cleansing.

Jesus said of the pharisees they were full of greed and envy. He said they
needed to clean their hearts, but where very good at cleaning how they appeared.

So my friend if you are calling Gods judgment crap, you are lost and condemned.
No matter how great your realization of faith and promises, and all the theology
you grew up with, unless you bow the knee before Him, the Lord of Lords and
accept His forgiveness and cleansing, there is nothing else. I know how false
man can be, and how difficult the things of the heart are, but Christ brings freedom,
real freedom, real eternity into mortal souls, like a new day has dawned and everything
is fresh. Until one wakes and sees this in ones heart, it is always a mystery, like groping
in the dark, with condemnation and failure dogging every step.

I walked this path for many years, and did not know a way through. For as long as I live
Gods judgment is right and true. My soul and life will rest in Him, the Lord of all, my Savior.

Now my friend, I have shared nothing more than what is in scripture, yet you react like it
is toxic. This speaks of the state of your heart and not my sharing. I wish I could help you
more, but until you find this place of forgiveness and cleansing you will always feel these
pangs of condemnation that exist because you refuse to resolve that which you know you
need to resolve.

In Jesus and the cross, what is holding you back? Praise God He resolves our needs.

Dear Lord Jesus, come tonight to meet with those who seek you, to resolve those sins,
hurts, anguish, which block them and stop them from walking in your ways and finding
your peace and rest. Please dear Lord help them see your forgiveness and cleansing is
there if they will only reach out and claim it in faith, In Jesus's Name, Amen

Grace and peace to you, may you find the overflowing love, forgiveness and cleansing
of our Lord Jesus Christ, the savior of the world

Let us look at the test John said about how you test the spirits.

This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.
1 John 4:2-3

The Holy Spirit in my heart testifies to me Jesus Christ came in the flesh,
lived and died upon the cross, rising again and ascended into heaven.
He leads me into Gods word, like it a jewel encrusted treasure box, with
wisdom and truth pouring out of every verse, and tells me how to exalt
God, how to sing praise to God in the Spirit, how to bring words of life to
my brothers and sisters in Christ, how to love and serve those I meet.

Now please show me that these are not the gifts of the Spirit, and not the
fruit of Jesus's work in my heart. I am happy to learn from you, if you can
walk in the light with me and know the fellowship of Christ, to become one
with Him in mind and heart. So please brother, let us share fellowship together
and encourage one another with songs of praise to our Lord and Savior.

You stopped with the word 'believe', and you didn't read the word 'baptized'? Do you wish someone would translate the bible again, and this time leave off the word 'baptized'.

Or if you could, would you whitewash the word 'baptized', so we would not be confused about this word?

Not about salvation?

So what does this part mean?

"This belief is unable to save him"

John/Yahanan 5:28-30, “Do not be astonished at this-for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice, and will come forth. Those who have practiced righteousness will be resurrected in order to live; and those who have practiced wickedness will be resurrected in order to be damned."
It is simple.
1. True faith is what saves.
2. Works proves the faith is true.

The Bible puts it that faith without works is dead. Like the saying," Facts speak louder than words." Facts are whether or not there are works. Works implies faith. No works implies a dead faith. In logic an implication means if the first part is true the second part MUST be true.
