Is. 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
21 Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!
22 Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink:
23 Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!
Some understand this of false prophets rejecting the true worship of God, and recommending false worship; others of wicked judges, pronouncing the causes of bad men good, and of good men evil; others of sensualists, that speak in praise of drunkenness, gluttony, and all carnal pleasures, and fleshly lusts, and treat with contempt fear, worship, and service of God. It may very well be applied to the Scribes and Pharisees in Christ's time, who preferred the evil traditions of their elders, both to the law of God, that is holy, just, and good, and to the Gospel.... (John Gill)

Whoever it was they were Jews.

if a missionary in a foreign land buys some food so that they will then have strength to peach the gospel in a nearby village, is that spiritual work or physical?
The last I knew people needed food to survive regardless of their activity. How does this in any way relate to our conversation

I'm not assuming anything about their customs

the part that caught my attention was "forsake Moses"
Paul did teach that the Priesthood Moses had taught had changed. Maybe they, like you, couldn’t accept the truth about The changing of the Priesthood.

you seem to see and hear a lot that isn’t there
so you do want to talk about it some more

am i understanding you right, here:

as you read the bible, you must keep written laws, meaning the ten commandments plus some others, in order to be saved.

it turns out that there was "no truth in the things that they have been informed about you"

it would be nice to have a discussion but you seem only interested in furthering your religious traditions instead of examining what Jesus had written for our admonition, the examples He wrote about to teach us not to lust after the things the examples of those who fell in the wilderness lusted after. You reject God’s Words that are written. It matters little whether they are written in stone or on our hearts. God’s instruction is God’s instruction regardless of the medium they exist on.

“Many” try to use His Word to justify their lifestyle or religious traditions, since I am only interested is being accepted by God, The religious traditions of man doesn’t do anything for me. This places you and I on two different foundations. For this reason you pretty much ignore most of the scripture I post to support why I believe the way I do, and you play word games instead. So a discussion of scripture, absolutely, but to continue in the one line word games. Not so much

Please share how this relates to Jesus being accused of breaking the Sabbath by healing someone.

For 'command keeping' read 'law keeping' which nobody can fully keep, neither should they if commanded to kill by stoning, and are therefore condemned.

Following those laws will actually send you straight to Hell.
Oh boy....

It wasn't their DNA that caused them to dishonor God and His instructions. It was the same evil that exists is all men. God has a plan for His people to "Rule over this evil" as He told Cain, but as Jesus declared, "men love darkness rather than light". So men reject God's instructions and create their own. Then spend the rest of their lives learning, but never able to come to the truth.

Same problem, same rebellion, same people, just different century.

"As is" is a direct comparison. So with that you must ask yourself how and when did God cease from his own works?
The answer to that is recorded in Gen 2.... on the Seventh Day, And God did rest from all His work on the seventh day (see Hebrews Verse 4 and Genesis Chapter 2:1-3).
God's rest after seven days was a permanent rest due to the work being completed.
Heb 4:10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.

Your post adds things that are not there. As was said "as is" is direct comparison. GOD did not enter into the Gospel rest; He is the Gospel rest. He ceased from physical work on the Seventh Day Sabbath not Spiritual. Because we enter into the Gospel rest we now can enter into the Seventh day Sabbath as GOD did and wants us too without defiling it.

Yes, Paul didn't teach against Moses and the Prophets like the Mainstream Preachers of his time accused him of, actually just the opposite, He taught only what Moses and the Prophets taught.

And "Many" of the Mainstream God of Abraham preaching people throughout history, teaches that He taught against Moses. Even as it is to this day.

but as you said, "no truth in the things that they have been informed about him"

Careful MarcR your fruits are showing.

As said earlier I twisted nothing at all you take a little section out of my post explaining my statement and twisted it as you do the scriptures.

Here let me add my response as to why I said what I said. I will highlight it in RED so you can see it. This next post was the one after your accusations and the response you ignored....

Guess that did not go the way you expected now did it?

Well you do not need to apologise I have already forgiven you.

ONLY God's Word is true and we should BELIEVE and FOLLOW him who calls us in LOVE to LOVE another.
It is obvious that you are twisting the facts about Jesus. As a human he lived under the law. He actually stated the law would last forever All people have been unable to not break the 613 rules of the law. Jesus was the only one who accomplished keeping the law. That made Him the unblemished Lamb of God. As such His sacrifice on the cross was acceptable to the Father for taking our sins on Himself.

Stating He sinned is an absolute falsehood!!!

Goodness I have said none of that. I suggest you re-read the posts you are trying to respond to.

Really? Colossians 2:16 - Therefore no one is to act as your judge in regard to food or drink or in respect to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath day 17 things which are a mere shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ. How does that equate to the Sabbath day is binding on the Church under the New Covenant? Where is the Church commanded to keep the Sabbath day holy under the New Covenant?
The Word for Sabbath is plural in that text. Verse 16 starts with the word therefore. Which keeps it in context to verse 14

Havingblotted out the handwriting to the ordinances that is againstus, that was contrary to us, and he hath taken it out of the way, having nailedit to the cross.

It is the Sabbaths that were of the handwriting to the ordinances. The ordinances are the Decalogue and those Laws contained in the Book of the Law that showed us what righteousness is. The handwriting to them that were against us, were those laws pertaining to when we sinned.
