Funny how you add something I didnt say and say we agree on it. Something that you don't explain and can mean a number of different things. what did He "change" or "mediate differently"

TO me His teaching did not and do not change:

Josephus, the prominent first-century Jewish historian, was well aware of Israel’s
settlement into the land of Parthia. In his history about the days of Ezra and the
construction of the second temple, Josephus declared, “But then the entire body of
the people of Israel [the lost sheep] remained in that country [they never returned
to Samaria]; wherefore there are but two tribes in Asia and Europe subject to the
Romans, while the 10 tribes are beyond Euphrates till now, and are an immense
multitude, and not to be estimated by numbers.”

Jesus commanded Peter, James, John and the rest of His disciples to go to these “lost sheep.”
If you have a collection of maps at the back of your Bible, look at the one that illustrates
Paul’s territory. He was the apostle in charge of the Gentile region. His area basically covers
northern Palestine and every region that touches the northern border of the Mediterranean Sea,
including what is today southern Turkey, Greece and Italy. He also pastored congregations on
the islands of Malta, Crete and Cyprus. And in Romans 15:24, Paul said he intended to visit
Spain as well.


That is a huge territory! But not as large as the regions the “lost sheep” of Israel had
been scattered into. For those territories, remember, had been reserved for the or. 12.
And there was very little territorial overlap, as Paul confirmed in Romans 15:20.
Paul worked in his assigned territory—and the other apostles worked in theirs.

Now consider Peter’s assigned territory. One of his regions, judging by the opening remarks
in his first epistle, was northern Turkey. “Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers
scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia.” Peter didn’t use the
word “strangers” in the sense that they were Gentiles. It comes from a Greek word that
means resident foreigner or alien.

Peter was fulfilling his Christ-given commission. He was addressing Israelite “strangers”
who were dwelling in Gentile lands. And where? Throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia,
Asia and Bithynia. Whereas Paul was expressly forbidden to enter the northern half Turkey
(Acts 16:6-7), Peter was commanded to reach the multitude of “lost sheep” that had been
scattered in that area.

Just as there was an immense multitude of “lost sheep” to be reached beyond the Euphrates
in the land of Parthia, so there was another multitude—one that Josephus was unaware of

Jesus tells them to avoid cities in Samaria, then after rising says to be witnesses in Samaria

For three years Jesus had been teaching the gospel, "but now" He is soon to be crucified.

Dr. Lightfoot tells us Jesus was reminding the disciples that the "Feast of Dedication" was approaching when everyone, even the beggars must take oil and lamps to the Temple and light them. Even if they had nothing to eat, they must either beg or sell their garment. Jesus reminded them they had never lacked for anything and even if they spent all they had, they would not go hungry.

So, Jesus was reminding them of this custom at the Feast of Dedication, "BUT NOW" Christ's death was looming and Jesus quoted from Isa 53:12 that says: "he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors."

The sword is symbolic of the wicked, it is symbolic of those who would transgress the law by breaking the 6th commandment. In this way Jesus would be numbered among the transgressors, because as Jesus said, "I tell you that this must be fulfilled in me. Yes, what is written about me is reaching its fulfilment.”

Neither was Jesus happy with Peter for using his sword and he was told to put it away. It was not to be used for violence, it was purely symbolic the same as the oil and the lamps at the feast of dedication were symbolic.

Very well explained but perhaps we can add 2 Kgs ch 17 for further concise explanation to help ''christians/gentiles understand !!! because they really have NO understanding who ISRAEL is...all they focus on are the Jews...whoare only a very small part of ISRAEL and have not remained LOST since they were allowed to return from their CAPtivity !
The LOST tribes of Israel (10) are STILL in captivity TODAY because of ''Sabbath-breaking and disobedience....please read 2Kgs 17. what i wanted to say was that

Jesus gives one command at one time

then a different command later

you can't do both

so Jesus sometimes changes something he said before

Why were 10 Commandments written separately in stone by GOD?
why? Can you give the reason and a verse to support it.

for example you say 10 commandment written in the stone because Saturday sabbath must practice after Jesus, than you need to give a verse or verses to support what you believe. Otherwise it is merely speculation and Ellen White opinion.

Jesus tells them to avoid cities in Samaria,
then after rising says to be witnesses in Samaria

Jesus gives one command at one time
then a different command later -you can't do both
First one was preaching the gospel of the coming kingdom of God,
the other was after Christs ministery, and was for a witness of events.
-

13And he was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted of Satan;
and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered unto him

-Here Christ overcame temptation, He quilified to replace satan as [god]
of this curent [age], but he did not take over [the kingdoms] of this earth yet.

He anounced the future coming kingdom, it was now a forsure thing.
We see in revelations [when ] this occures, the kingdoms become Christs.

14Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee,
preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, And saying, The time is fulfilled,
and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom
of heaven is at hand .

Don't go among the Gentiles ... go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
-The good news being sent out, about the coming kingdom of God to earth.

The Gospel that Jesus had sent the Apostles to preach was not centered on believing
on Christ's person, or receiving forgiveness of sins through His sacrifice at that time.
Christ had not even told His own disciples this yet.

"Then He commanded His disciples that they should tell no one that he was Jesus
the Christ." It was only [after Peter's recognition] of Jesus as the Christ that Jesus
began to teach His disciples about His coming crucifixion and resurrection. Peter did
not receive this teaching very well at this point. A proclamation of Jesus, as Christ
crucified, was not a part of the Gospel that Christ had previously sent Peter out preaching.

But when they believed Philip as he preached [1] the things concerning the kingdom
of God and [2] the name of Jesus Christ, both men and women were baptized" (Acts 8:12).

But here now the people believed Philip’s message of the Good News
concerning the Kingdom of God [and the name] of Jesus Christ.


-The message of Jesus suffering, of his crucifixion and resurrection,
was added to the gospel of the kingdom of God.

Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep
the commandments of God [and the faith of Jesus].


You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria,
and to the uttermost parts of the earth.
-As [a witness-es] of his resurrection, and mircles that happened in the area.

21Wherefore of these men which have companied with us
all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us,

Beginning from the baptism of John, unto that same day that he was taken up
from us, [must one be ordained to be [a witness] with us of his resurrection].
-

But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you;
2Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost
had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen:

4And, being assembled together with them, [commanded them] that they
should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father,
which, saith he, ye have heard of me.

-they where commanded to wait for, and keep the day of Pentecost.
Why do we not also keep this day?


5 For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with
the Holy Ghost not many days hence.

-The old testement spoke of this day, the giving of the Holy Spirit.

1And when [the day of Pentecost] was fully come,
they were all with one accord in one place.

-Another one of Gods Holy convocations, the deciples where commanded to keep,
and gential converts also kept, if not they would not be part of, the start of the new
testement church that was founded that day. [ Pentecost] First fruits [50th].

This is one of the Holydays "things to come"fortold and mentioned in COL 2:16,
along with the next one "the feast of trumphs" that pictures Christs return in power.

the bread and wine for Passover, and the feast of Un. bread, Apostles keeped falls under
Let no man therefore judge you in MEAT, or in DRINK, or in respect of an HOLYDAY

When would the kingdom to Israel be restored?
His disciples "thought the kingdom of God would appear immediately" So
"He spoke another parable" He explained to them about how [He] had to go
to heaven to be crowned, and then He would return at a later date. (Luke 19:11..

6When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying,
Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?

7And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons,
which the Father hath put in his own power.

-Here Christ did not say it would not be restored, the Apostles did not know when.


Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying,
“The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of
His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!” -see also [Daniel 7:27]

-clearly the kingdom [Christs reign on earth] has not been established yet.
We pray "Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven".

1Joh 2v4, He that says 'I know Him and keeps not His Commandments is a liar and the truth is not in him !!!
all you are doing is proving your own SIN.
For us that living in the New Covenant era, to keep His commandment is not observe Saturday sabbath, we observe sabbath simply by coming to Jesus.

I'm not sure about that. Do you have any examples?

I know Jesus said something like, "You have heard it said, but I say unto you...."

But I have never known Jesus to change his mind.

And, oh by the way, your use of 1 John 2:4 is completely out of context - it has nothing to do with the TEN commandments - but, of course, your ilk will never let the truth stand in the way of your theology of condemnation....
