I need help too. I'm gonna take your advice and check my freezer.
Well, I opened the freezer door and my bag of tater tots fell out and spilled on the floor. I'll just scoop 'em up and throw them back in the bag. Found a package of Hot Pockets that had some serious freezer burn. I will throw this in the trash. Just kidding about the nuggets going back in the bag. I thought about it though. Didn't find the help that I needed. Think I'll check out the vegetable compartment in the fridge. Oh, found some fresh lemons. No limes. :) :)

I haven't completely Kethup-ed to all posts yet but, suffice it to say, I have even greater commitments to God namely discipleship commitments. This is a thread of great joy for me...why? Because this verse rings true here experientially! And all His people said ...??? .....Fine - amen! I'm sure you said it...LOL

Something was brought to my attention in the last few hours that I wanted to ignore but I need to say something today about it principally in Christ. This subject was given to me by someone I trust stating there are posts about people in here. They were concerned...but I say be not concerned for anything except for their proper alignment with God.. You see this verse has power as we live it out in fellowship. We have not been attacked as it were - the Spirits are fighting for control of people thru coarse joking and spiritual conviction. When one lives a duplicitous life - flaming arrows come out to destroy that conviction. While the burden of the spirit comes out to kill the things of the flesh as well. To that - be concerned and pray in loving power and kindness for people who tease you thru coarse joking ... being slandered was not new to Jesus - even while people of His day thought it only playfully spiteful.

"We have renounced the hidden things of shame…" - (2 Corinthians 4:2)

Have we “renounced the hidden things of shame” in our lives - the things that our sense of honor or pride will not allow to come into the light? We can easily hide them. This is a good reminder for us all - Is there a thought in your heart about anyone that you would not like to be brought into the light?

Then renounce it as soon as it comes to mind - renounce everything in its entirety until there is no hidden dishonesty or craftiness about you at all. Envy, jealousy, and strife don’t necessarily arise from your old nature of sin, but from the flesh which was used for these kinds of things in the past (see Romans 6:19 and 1 Peter 4:1-3). You must maintain continual watchfulness so that nothing arises in your life that would cause you shame.

“…not walking in craftiness…” (2 Corinthians 4:2). This means not resorting to something simply to make your own point. This is a terrible trap. You know that God will allow you to work in only one way - the way of truth. Then be careful never to catch people through the other way - the way of deceit. If you act deceitfully, God’s blight and ruin will be upon you.

What may be craftiness for you, may not be for others - God has called you to a higher standard. Never dull your sense of being your Best for God - your best for His glory. For you, doing certain things would mean craftiness coming into your life for a purpose other than what is the highest and best, and it would dull the motivation that God has given you. Many people have turned back because they are afraid to look at things from God’s perspective. The greatest spiritual crisis comes when a person has to move a little farther on in his faith than the beliefs he has already accepted.

There is nothing, naturally speaking, that makes us lose heart quicker than decay - the decay of bodily beauty, of natural life, of friendship, of associations, all these things make a man lose heart; but Paul says when we are trusting in Jesus Christ these things do not find us discouraged, light comes through them.

If something is real in Christ Satan wants to thwart it and stumble it up ... we should not be shocked or even surprised of this for Jesus has told us of this coming our way as well for those who live according to His will over their own.

I bury this issue in His lap just now, and let go of it completely. Our life is never a fight to save us. It is a fight to show others His massive Almighty love.

I would love to get a room with all of you individually and pray with each of you ...as well - three or more of you - behind closed doors in faithful prayer. For this is where God ignites us in joy and perspective of His will. Maybe we should all reserve a room! LOL.
:)..

Thank you sweet sister for sending the friend request :)

Yes I need some sort of blocking option cause this person can still send me pms. ?
When in doubt - don't! In other words, even if you can be pm'ed by him simply let it sit there without reading it. (I know easier said than done huh?) Its not like you will run out of cyber space to collect them, but this will happen = he will get bored and move on, for there will be no responses at all. Who wants to write to yourself? Wait What? Did the guy who talks together with me, myself and I just say that? LOL :).

I'm also praying God takes this and works it out towards His glory. Be at peace over it Sister ... you will be safe!

I have that happen all the time, I open the freezer and that one thing keeps falling out. And ironically, its the one thing I don't eat for awhile. Its like a sport...open ... drop ..pick up...re-jam it in ...go about my business ... come back open ...drop ... pick up ... re-jam it in there etc etc

I love fresh lemons..I slice them into wedges and squeeze it in just a glass of water, and eat the interior of the meat of it. They really are healthy for you even in those smaller amounts. I love it! Look out for the seed though, I've squeezed them and dropped the seed in accidentally, and knowing it was in there - thought I could drink the water and just leave it in there until the end, but as I gulped towards the end, it swooped into my mouth and I gulped it down accidentally...I coughed and went, "That'll teach me!" And it did - I haven't swallowed a lemon seed since.

This is a quotation from the above post, & sounds to me like the summary of it all
Praying and believing God for more insight/understanding!

Concerning reserving a room for prayers, what did Jesus mean when He said ''when u pray go to your room...('' Matthew 6:6)Is this room necessarily a physical room or a spiritual own (concentration)?

Adultery is still very much a shameful act that will destroy marriages. The worse thing that a spouse can do is cheat on the other spouse. Speaking as a man, a man that loves his wife will not even think about cheating on his wife let alone actually do that shameful act. Once the marital trust has been betrayed it can never be restored. You can forgive a cheating spouse but you will not forget what happen and will find yourself wondering why it happened and when it will happen again. For all intents and purposes a single act of adultery will destroy such marriage. Adultery is like cancer and will eat the injured spouse from the inside out. I have zero tolerance for those that commit adultery.
Yes, Adultery is still a shameful act today and will remain one till Jesus comes. The same go for all other sins: 9Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who submit to or perform homosexual acts, 10nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor verbal abusers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.… 1Corinth.6:9-10)

But the point I am trying to make here is that no one should brag about such sins. And secondly ''if we say we have no sin we make God to be a liar and there is no truth in us because ''all have sinned and come short of the glory of God'' However if we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. When He has forgiven us, we don't need to continue in the sins again. Finally, don't judge others by their past sinful life. We should forgive and let go 77x7 times. For if we don't forgive men their sin God will not forgive us!

First of all - Its about being honest with ourselves; about ourselves - according to Jesus' Word and His relationship bestowing Spiritual revelations to us spiritually first, then mindfully as well, as we place our minds in Christ...When we come to this question we must be stripped of all self-awareness and be seeking His face then, do we harbor our own judgements and label them godly, or God-sent? There is another way of putting it too. Jealousy and malice and slander come from self-awareness. We must rid ourselves of these things. As we bring everything out of the corners of hidden darkness and show it in the light of Christ, we can lay it down at His feet then and be freed. If you are at the stage of still seeking His face to understand these details in your life, for instance, then continue to pray and seek His face. But if you see His revelation in this - it is time to lay it down at His feet and walk away clear and pure of anything that may stumble your walk with God rightly so.

Matthew 6:6 is imperative for us all - for we are human and we seek peoples approval don't we ? More so than we realize..more so than the seeking of His face. We tend to think it is all going well, when it is not, and we never know better because we never slow down enough to listen. This is about stopping and listening on a regular basis - even daily and hourly and minute by minute. But the closed door means to find your solitude and let His presence be afforded to be open and directly present. It is turning off the TV and chatter that the world system is beating us down with - and letting just you and God do business - His business with you! Jesus went to the hilltop to pray many times we read, and this is indicative of the closed door for us.

It is both: We need to physically be in a place away from distractions; and it is a spiritual set as well; quieting our minds and soul ready to receive Him openly.
