I made this one ^^ a couple of months ago :)
I first read Kahlil Gibran's "The Prophet" when
I was sixteen years old, and wept at its profundity.
Some of it inspires me still
Perhaps not as much now as it did all those
many years ago (forty seven!), but
I still find it especially beautiful in parts.

I have also read the parody by Kehlog Albran
which is called "The Profit." It was funny! :D

"midnight confession" is a thread created by Tourist. lol. I don't have anything to confess on there but curious to know if people actually go there at their midnights to do their confessions as the title of the thread implies. I wished to hear from him, lol. I know you are kidding me
Actually, peeps go there all times day and night. I got the title from the song by the Grass Roots. Thought it sounded kinda neat. I created the thread 3 years ago and it's still going. Some peeps actually confessed something that was hard for them to admit or say. My OP in the first post was about my being a nicotine addict. Thing is I'm still an addict even though I quit a couple years ago for 3 months. One day I snapped and started again. My desire is to quit but I lack the willpower. Other than that I'm OK as I don't drink alcohol, smoke pot or take other drugs. That's my only vice but it is a huge one.

Confessions have a opening and closing time now? What have I missed in His Word??? Yikes!!! Ok, I am going to sleep before midnight then so I don't have to deal with it...Wait What?? ... that is definitely not Biblical I know that! "Whenever God makes something clear for us to do - via the Holy Spirit, spiritually - do it immediately!"

Midnight Confessions - Hmmmm? Now I want to ask Tourist about it too.....:)...
It's always midnight somewhere in the world. Midnight Confessions is open 24 hours a day. Before I got married my wife announced that she loves me in Midnight Confessions. Now that was quite a confession. I believe that a lot of peeps harbor some kind of secret that they are afraid to admit because people can be so judgemental. Sometimes it's good to get some things out in the open. It takes a lot of courage to post a hidden fear or desire in that thread but I admire those that do.

Yes - Jesus tells us to confess one with another doesn't He? So, you are on solid biblical ground there. His purpose in confession is to rid ourselves of the sins associated with it in complete denial of its continuance. Stepping into the power of Christ to so enable that change.

Yes - it is a process for some to complete the task, but the will of ours must be absolute in denying sin anymore access to us. in reality then God's further message is - no matter what comes, we will always taste victory through Him Who loved us. (Romans 8:37). (Col. 3:5) goes on to say, "Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature...." And (Romans 8:13) also speaks of His reality in our lives. Confession is good and biblical. To counsel it is to know His truths of what confession is for, according to His purposes and intentions. I think it is good we have a place to confess our sins, but we must be in His commission too while counseling, for otherwise it can end up being a place of dirty-laundry being honored and one upping the other as well, until our note of sinfulness no longer has a darkness of death about it. We must show mercy and direction to an end result found in Christ Jesus from our confessions.

I will pray for this thread you have started 3 years ago, that you are led by His Spirit to productive spiritual gains....Amen! And I will pray for your life, for the same spiritual gains as well. We are here for ya brother! :)... We love you!

Its 4:34 pm here and I still yawned when I saw the moon yawning!! Ironic huh - the poor of suggestion...LOL:)..
I confess - I screwed up! (Poor - should be written - power) I intend not to make that mistake again -ever again - but if I do, I have the mercy of God to forgive me as I confess and move onward and upward in Him, as He cleanses me - and empowers me thru faithful righteous living. I know the mistake of a word is not a sin. It is a mistake, but a life found in Christ will have mistakes that are outside of Christ if we are not diligent and watchful, so that by definition biblically is a sin. We must allow God to Lord our being in all of its sum-parts categorically. I say this to not to harbor on a misspelt word, but to honor God in His truth, in accordance with sin in our lives.

I love my little boy so much...

but a mom needs a break from being around baby all day... and holding him, and loving him... and making him happy and not fussy and crying...

So i hear him in the other room... fussy. and I just need 20 mins of solitude to myself... and guess what?

I'm not even watching tv... im in my sons room... on my laptop... soaking up some much needed quiet time... cause today has been a VERY full day... but hey, at least we were active and not just being lazy bones and sitting around our house feeling sorry for ourselves...

I feel bedtime is coming SOON tonight... and im so excited lol.

I got about 3/4 of the way through a funny animals' video you posted a while back :)

It was an hour long! I watched it in bits and pieces :D

A girl can only take so much

If it brought a smile to your face then I am content. ;-)

I am preparing a Sunday school lesson for adults on Revelation 20 - and man: what riches there are to be hand in the future eternal kingdom, where God will tabernacle with man for all eternity! I'm one of those criers as I see how wonderful God's love and grace is and how 'Jesus, joy of man's desiring' will be completely fulfilled in the New Jerusalem.

" 3And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away." - Revelation 21:3-4
