Dear Lord, make us aware of Your everyday miracles. Help us to listen closely to the beat of Your drum so we can join in the dance, in Jesus name, Amen

Thanks beautiful for asking - it's Monday here today and I have Monday's off so I'm looking forward to ketching up with things around the house and of course with my sweet peeps here LOL
Getting stuff done around the house is great. :D Love that feeling of cleanliness and productivity. Best part is when I am done and I can sit back and enjoy it. :)

Proverbs 6:16-19"These six things does the LORD hate: yes, seven are an abomination to him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, an heart that devises wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, a false witness that speaketh lies, and he that sows discord among brethren."

So many times I've heard Christians talk about how horrible are things like homsexuality, or abortion, and such is true. Here, we can read of seven things which are abominations to God, and many of them can be found in today's churches. God help us all to better understand how even the "littlest" wrongs are abominable to Him.

On a more positive note, I went to the Lighthouse Church today. Pastor Kenny is in the hospital, so someone from another church subbed for him today. The man used a lot of scriptures in his sermon, and he knew them well. This was a great blessing for this church.

I feel the same way. I feel better and more relaxed when the house is in proper order.

Isn't that true of His temple as well - that being our bodies in complete wholeness as well as the house of God or His Church. I see why Jesus used parables all the time ... He wanted to relate our known things we have experienced with things beyond us yet; the things we have not yet experienced for ourselves in Spiritual Truth. Ain't Jesus Awesome!

It's 11 AM, my time. :) Had about 3 cups of coffee and still cannot get motivated. Doing a fast today. Didn't go to church today because I'm still in the process of searching for a new one. Small town I live in isn't such a nice place, but I'd rather attend church in this town than travel with my mother to attend hers. Still planning on having a communion and a baptism, but I'm not yet sure where or how that will go down. Had an inkling to maybe travel to TN to do it. Spent my teen years in that state and something about having communion and a baptism there feels "right". (shrugs) Unsure where.

It will be my first communion and baptism.

Haven't done that in years. Nice post.

Does playing with a pet count? Different "type" of play....
I lived in Clarksville, TN for 3 years when I was in the army. Very scenic state with nice change of seasons. My wife and I are thinking about moving to Tennessee in a couple years, probably in Gatlinburg.
