Have you ever had a time in your life when you were looking at something (or someone), maybe even distracted by it...perplexed...frustrated even... and suddenly, there's a tap on your shoulder, and you turn around to face something unexpectedly amazing? I think I just had one of those.. and I'm kinda liking it. :)

Anyone else?

Heh, heh. I think I've had those, "Wow, this is totally amazing!" feelings you're describing, Jules.

However, lately it's been in places such as restaurants and public places ("Wow, this cheeseburger is totally amazing." "Wow, I am astounded that someone wants $80 for this sweater...")

Does that count? :D

Yes I've had like those moments before too... Cant remember a specific one now, but there have been so many times when I have found myself saying "Wow!" after realiziing what God intended to do with a certain situation..And I love those moments! Also I can never forget the big "WOW!" people said after hearing Susan Boyle sing for the first time at Britain's Got Talent Show... That REALLY was a "wake up call" for so many ppl that appearence is not all that matters...but talent, soul and heart!..

P.s. Jullianna, I am glad you had a "wow" moment after the furstration.. :)

Thank you, El <3 It's an amazing world!

Susan Boyle was a WOW moment indeed. There was a little 6 year old girl that was a WOW moment too.

God puts some amazing things in what others might consider to be plain packaging, huh? We are fools if we look no further.

I had a moment like that when i went to eat the other day, i was at the restaurant and the came in a homeless man all dirty asking for money, many ppl saw him and were upset because he smelled very bad, other ppl gave him money, but when i turned to the other side there was a woman in the table and she asked to the waitress for other meal and she standed up and gave it to him, she took her glass with water and gave it too to that man, so i was like wow, kind of surprised and i thought what amount was enough good to God that we give to other ppl, because maybe some ppl thought that giving this man some money was good enough, but this woman went beyond that and gave him her food.

I admit, that would be a big WOW moment for me to see something like that too. God bless that woman (if she's not really just an angel in disguise).

something like that happened to me today actually. I was up at 7/11 getting gas, when i was done i went inside to get something and i saw this man standing by the soda's and he was just pacing back and fourth. It was so hot today and i felt like God told me to buy that man some water, He was clearly homeless. He smelled horrible, it looked like he hadnt showered or changed his clothes in weeks.

So anyways im like naaaah i dont think thats God telling me, and im gonna feel really stupid if i just go up to him and give him a bottle of water. Anyways so i get my stuff and walk out of the store and into the car, and god said not only do i want you to buy him some water i want you to get him something to eat. Im thinkin okay God i dont know if i can do that. Im not so sure... i put the car in reverse and look to the side to check if anyone is around and there is a sign right there in front of my face that says, Will you feed my children?? I have no clue what this sign is pertaining to, i've never even seen it before, but i put my car in park say ok God you want me to do this. So i went and did it, i could tell God was pleased with me and that was what made me happiest of all. That i stepped out of my comfort zone and obeyed him

That was a wow moment for me.

WOW! Thats awesomeness to the max!! :D I actually saw a homeless lady the other day, I can't remember where, but I remember thinking I should go give her some money. She was pushing a cart full of blankets or something and I was in my car leaving a parking lot, but I would have to park, get out and chase her down to give her money so I just kept driving :( I guess I failed my test.

I was reading the "woman card" thread and then i remember something lol , i didnt know where to post it so i decided it was a wow moment :D
Some months ago a friend (a guy) who cooks very good, found a recepie on the internet and was giving it to me because he told me it was easy for me (because im not an expert chef) but i wasnt sure how to cook it, and then he told me "Wait!, im giving you the recepie but i will cook it first to see if its safe and if its taste" lol, and i was like wow because it reminded me when a Knight in the old times tell to the princess to wait while he sees if the way is safe of thieves or something like that.

I know...i know.... maybe i have watched a lot fairy tales :D

Ok, this is a little emotional for me so bare with me.
I would not classify this as a WOW moment, but it was one of those times that something happened and you just can't explain it.

On June 26 my sister passed away(not asking for pity here just so you know), and my mother, brother in law, minister and myself were by her bedside. No one else was in the room with us.
I was watching her chest and her respirations were slowing. Almost like I was in a trance. Then, suddenly through all the tears I felt an overwelming peace about me. Can't even to begin to explain it, but when you are watching your sister die it is kind of strange to call it a GOOD feeling, but it was pleasant.
At that moment i felt totally calm and peaceful. Something in me told me that everything will be ok...then, not a minute later she took her last breath.

That moment was a "wow" moment in a way, but I can honestly say that I have never felt that before.

All I can say is that had to have been God. What else could it have been?
