I was looking for something to discuss. About the only thing I could disagree with in that post is the spelling of "honor". {big smile}

honour is the English spelling and I am disappointed that you do not share in the exaltation of God but would rather criticize and find fault

You made me laugh, but love and 'honour' him anyways because the scriptures teach us to do so especially when they need it...

1Cor 12:23 And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness. (big smile)

I do not regard anyone who constantly attacks other christians and when explaining the gospel to others omits the idea of repentance a member of the body...

where is the body anyway when someone like me is praising and exalting God...this thread has been going for possibly half an hour already and NOBODY has come along side of me and exalted God...they seem to just want to honour undeserving humans

I hate having to try to express myself in threads. Without hearing my tone of voice, I guess you couldn't tell. I was trying to make a joke. That's why I put "big smile". I agree with you so much, there was nothing I could say.

My apologies to you, and especially to anyone who thinks I would not shout this from the housetops, in either spelling.

I know that was your punchline but I still wanted you to give glory and honour to God through Jesus but none was forthcoming so my disappointment remains..I take exalting God very seriously even though it is something that brings great joy..He is our Heavenly Father and deserves all the honour and respect and love that we can muster and then more..He deserves infinite glory, honour, love and respect

Amen, He is wonderful, awesome, mighty, magnificent God.

Personally, I feel better saying it with my life. Unfortunately, I can't type that.

I think the writers of the books of the bible would disagree with you there..springing to mind are the words of King David...with my lips I shall bless thee..ofcourse our lives are to reflect the glory of God but so are our thoughts and words which can be typed on here..you know when Jesus returns, everyone will be bowing their knees and exalting Jesus, even those whose lives did not bring glory and honour to God ...if we do not praise Jesus with our lips even the rocks will praise Him..He does not need our praise but we do need to give it to Him

at least you have shown a degree of boldness while the rest of the body sleeps..it is better to fear God than to fear humans because God has the power to save or to cast into hell if we remain in our sins

This is in reference to me I presume. You think that I omit repentance when it comes to sin in relationship to the gospel. I don't omit repentance, I just reject the kind of repentance that is not subject to the grace and goodness of God that lead the sinner to that place. If I challenge others or come against what they believe is that considered to be an attack? I never charge anyone with personal sin because my sin is and has been greater. I have many weaknesses and have need of the grace of God that much more. The doctrine I have been taught and the grace I have received from the Lord is in my heart and through the Spirit and not my flesh. I have a tremendous need to lean upon the Lord for all things.

You have an understanding about the Lord that my be contrary to my own and if that is what has turned you against me then ask others what they think of the things I have said to others. If they confirm your convictions about me then will you give me grace, allow God to convict my heart and give me room to repent? That is all I ask.

actually not at all a reference to you..it was a reference to the person you called part of the body when I have seen otherwise..I appreciate your testimony here and I do not think for one moment that you are not part of the body even if you earlier defended someone who I strongly suspect is not part of the body

The Joy of the Lord is our strength.

I spell honour the same as you. It seems more honourable.

a half an hour??? REALLY!?!?with that kind of attitude... your praise and exalting isn't getting past the ceiling and I am fairly confident that OUr Father is neither impressed with your noise nor fooled about your motives. TSK TSK little sister... you are out of order.
