I'm just going to say NO it is not a God fearing nation. All you have to do is open your eyes and see the evil that goes on here. And is it any wonder? With Satan as the prince of this world..

If someone is able I would like them to point out one God fearing nation and I will happily relocate. It breaks my heart to see the sins that Canada not only permits but promotes. The young and impressionable children growing up never knowing Truth because the government declares it as hate speech. It is not God Canada fears, rather every small voice no matter how ridiculous or insane. It didn't seem proper pointing out the splinter in our nieghbor's eye with a plank in our own.

If anybody wishes to change the state of their nation, the way to do it is fulfil Paul's injunction in 1Tim 2v1-8! 1Tim 2v1-2 reads: ' Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.' So, Christians need to get praying, as it is their responsibility to change their own nation...Yahweh Shalom

It's a pity that you suffer from the same critical spirit as the loveless person who gave the said 'prophecy!'

Get a life fellow!
Every word I posted was what Jesus said. I even offered the reference. So it is not me that you are accusing of having a critical spirit.

How could any nation be God fearing?

God deals in this way with individuals, not with political or governmental entities.

God warned the "nation" of Israel of its sins against Him through Jeremiah and others. Jonah was sent to warn the people of Nineveh. Babylon was warned before its judgment. In each time that a nation would not repent, God called His people (the remnant) out of those places before judgment came.

I have heard many say that God has changed; that He no longer does this. Do not be mistaken. God has not changed. Revelations 18 gives a clear picture of God's judgment, instruction to His people, and the result.

George Washington prayed to the Lord and dedicated the land of the United States to Him. He did so at the location of St. Paul's Chapel which is located at ground zero. In his prayer he finished by saying, "Lord, if this nation ever turns its back on you, take your favor from it."

The same was done of Israel. And when Israel refused to repent, sudden and swift destruction came by its enemies upon the place that the nation was offered up. God scattered His people out of there. The same that has happened in the United States. There truly is nothing new under the sun.

I think it is safe to say that none of the nations could really meet the standard of "God-fearing." I should have said so earlier, when I was condemning the United States as godless. I should have expanded and said all nations are godless because all of mankind is depraved. Compared to the holiness of God, there is no goodness in mankind at all. Without the sun, all the planets would be in absolute darkness.

One thing I must add.

God's people are in fact scattered throughout the earth among the nations. I have met brothers and sisters in Christ throughout.

So why would this be an issue in the United States and Israel only?

It is because the lands at those places were consecrated to God. They are the only two "nations" to have done so. I hope this helps to understand.

Check the treaty with tripoli washington was a mason they do not follow the same understanding of the scriptures as we do check the great seal of the U S on the back of the dollar bill it is a tough pill to swallow but it was signed off by all of them. Also it says 13 letters not a good number e pluribus unum = "out of many one" who do you think that one is going to be? Not trying to hurt anyone but it is time for the real body of Christ to stand up in the US and tell the truth and washington DC stop killing everybody around the earth.

Revelations 18
[SUP]3 [/SUP]For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.
[SUP]7 [/SUP]How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.
[SUP]12 [/SUP]The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble,
[SUP]13 [/SUP]And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men.
[SUP]14 [/SUP]And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all.

Hmm... it would appear that her wealth will be taken from her. I guess we could except economic troubles for her. Oh... wait... hmmmmm

Well, it was not the voice of the Lord Jesus you heard, but your own imaginations or some other source (Jer 14v14 comes to mind), simply because it is ALL condemnation, there is absolutely no love or offer of mercy, so, have another think of your source, for it is NOT the God of LOVE! :p

Thank you for sharing this Timothy.

Two years ago the Lord revealed to me that the United States as a nation has turned its back on Him despite the warnings of the prophets and the following judgments. I asked Him what would become of the United States. He told me that when this nation turned its back on Israel, the fate of the nation would be sealed and its judgment would soon come after. After being told then by many that the United States would never do such a thing, I have watched as the United States government has slowly backed away from supporting Israel. The war will take place soon. The United States will not help. Judgment will come soon after upon the nation for its sins. Revelations 18

Grace and peace be to you through our Lord, Jesus Christ. Amen
could you please provide one single passage which states God is going to judge or curse anyone who does not throw everything they have at (support) the Israeli State.

please provide everything you have on that.

im not going to highlight anything in these short passages. please just read them.
then if you would not mind offering your Biblical commandment to bless the Israeli State or be judged and cursed.
thanks.

Galatians 3
7Know then that it is those of faith who are the sons of Abraham. 8And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justifyc the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, “In you shall all the nations be blessed.” 9So then, those who are of faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith.

The Righteous Shall Live by Faith
10For all who rely on works of the law are under a curse; for it is written, “Cursed be everyone who does not abide by all things written in the Book of the Law, and do them.” 11Now it is evident that no one is justified before God by the law, for “The righteous shall live by faith.”d 12But the law is not of faith, rather “The one who does them shall live by them.” 13Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us—for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree”— 14so that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we might receive the promised Spirite through faith.

The Law and the Promise
15To give a human example, brothers:f even with a man-made covenant, no one annuls it or adds to it once it has been ratified. 16Now the promises were made to Abraham and to his offspring. It does not say, “And to offsprings,” referring to many, but referring to one, “And to your offspring,” who is Christ. 17This is what I mean: the law, which came 430 years afterward, does not annul a covenant previously ratified by God, so as to make the promise void. 18For if the inheritance comes by the law, it no longer comes by promise; but God gave it to Abraham by a promise.

Hey guys...stop replying to the posts by the user who started this forum thread. He is posting from an extreme cultic website and most of the time, it is nothing related to what is originally posted to begin with. The mods have been warned so just no more replies. He's trying to recruit followers from what I can tell.

Ya know, if the OP consists of a modern day prophecy from a chat convo with God, don't you think that he would at least use a more modern grammar sense than one that is rather archaic?

Well, it was not the voice of the Lord Jesus you heard, but your own imaginations or some other source (Jer 14v14 comes to mind), simply because it is ALL condemnation, there is absolutely no love or offer of mercy, so, have another think of your source, for it is NOT the God of LOVE! :p
There is a significant difference in a call to repentance and condemnation. What about those that warned the people of Japan before the disaster? Was that not an act of love to give them the opportunity to repent and take refuge beforehand? Or Lot in Sodom? Was Lot offended in the judgment that was coming or thankful that he was spared?
Yet there were those that would not endure hearing it and would not repent. They remained and perished.

Therefore there is no condemnation FOR THOSE THAT ARE IN CHRIST JESUS.

Mercy has been given.

Jeremiah 14:15
[SUP]15 [/SUP]Therefore thus saith the Lord concerning the prophets that prophesy in my name, and I sent them not, yet they say, Sword and famine shall not be in this land; By sword and famine shall those prophets be consumed.
[SUP]16 [/SUP]And the people to whom they prophesy shall be cast out in the streets of Jerusalem because of the famine and the sword; and they shall have none to bury them, them, their wives, nor their sons, nor their daughters: for I will pour their wickedness upon them.

Take a close look at what they were doing and what God said would be their fate.

As for me, instead of arguing about what is in store for the United States, I would rather encourage others to pray like Abraham... in that the righteous not perish with the wicked.
