Psa 147:7-8 „Sing unto the LORD with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God: Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains.”

The herbs are known since ancient times and sometimes they are important ingredients of the holyday meal – „Exo 12:8 And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it.”

This threat is about the culinary herbs. In my opinion they usually do the food more tasty and delicious. I would be glad if you share your experience on that matter:D.
I will give an example, but you just feel free to express your opinion on the way you want to
:)
Since 2010 I have some of the culinary herbs grown on my balcony.

I am a spice addict so I use lots of herbs, garlic, chili etc on everything, although much of it isn't herbs.
Normally I use a lot of different ones in the same meal.

What I have varies, but i MUST always have these in my spice rack (or else loose my mind):

-Salt
-A herb mix of some kind
-Chili of some kind
-Armoat and Gastromat (Spice mixes)

and then I add stuff like:
Basil, thyme, garlic granules, curry, cinnamon,
once I stop moving about I will grow some Lovage outdoors (yummmm)

I use most of it for everything, but here are some ideas.

Basil:
Anything you want a bit of herbs in.

Thyme: Good on meat and in stews

Lovage: soup/ stew:
Either finely chop, or just throw a bundle into the pot while cooking and remove it before serving

:D I put lot of Basil, less mint and garlic in the tomato souse for spaghetti :) - Try it instead of that you usually put into

Lovage is the best for soup of fish :)))

Perhaps sushi as well? Fish is delectable. I think that word means tasty or something to that effect.

I use it as a dip for tortilla chips or crackers, i throw it on tacos, salads, rice and beans, I've put it on my eggs, on toast with mashed avocado.

I've never attempted Thai cuisine, but my one attempt at sushi turned into a deconstructed sushi salad. Lemongrass goes well in infused water, especially with cucumber and mint. Also provides nice fragrance in rice, or poultry and fish

I grow: basil, purple basil, rosemary, curly parsley, mint, cat nip, chives and sage in my garden.

That drink looks refreshing, what's in it?

I dry them for later use in the winter and use them fresh all summer as well. Last week I used mint and parsley in making a quinoa tabbouleh.

:) Have you tried the purple basil to prepare Jenovese sous? I have not seen purple yet.
