I'm going to smoke a chicken. I got applewood chips and marinated this morning, thermometer stuck in chicken never smoked before anyone have tips?

You have to chop the chicken up very finely in order to fit them into the Zigzags.

From the title of this thread, I was expecting something totally different and was confused as to why it was in the Recipes section.....

Just an update, it took 4 hours to smoke the chicken and the applewood taste was in the chicken and even in the rice I stuffed it with. smelled great tasted better.

I've smoked a few animals in my time using various heaters equipped for that purpose:
