This is a really good and healthy one. "daing" is a process of drying fish and in this recipe i would recommend using meaty than bony fish. Milk Fish is good or any smaller fish that has less bones but if you can deal with fish bones then you can use any dried fish.

Ingredients:
Dried Fish of your choice - 1 Kilo
Coconut milk - 1 Cup
Water - 1/2 Cup
Minced Garlic - 3 cloves or as much as you want to taste.
Ground pepper - 1 tbsp
Horseradish leaves - 2 cups or more, it's up to you
Any oil for frying

Optional (to suite your own taste):
Salt to taste - the dried fish is salty itself
Ginger - half a thumb, mince if you want to eat, whole if you want to remove after cooking.
Cubed Potato - up to you
Long chili - 2 PCS or more if you eat it like me. (for spicy version)
Veggies that you can think of!

•Pre-cook dried fish, remove fish and use same oil for next step to keep flavor.
•Saute garlic in oil - i do it mildly cooked so i can preserve that garlicky taste.
•Put ginger, mildly saute, then remove oil and keep ginger and garlic.
•Next add the water and when it starts boiling, add the fish and ground pepper.
•After 2 to 4 minutes add the coconut milk, horseradish and optional potato, long chili, simmer up to 10 minutes. Don't wait for the coconut milk to become too thick. the goal is to cook the potato and blend all the flavors.

Serve with Rice!
