Does anyone make springrolls that arent fried? Can u tell about that?

And also, and this is actually calling for recipes... i know fruit salads are so simple and basic, but would others post fresh salad variations (in other/new thread) u have loved, of kors healthy! and tht works u can store for at least a day. I am curious esp abt how others do in other countries. Here, the 'basic' salad is fresh young coconut, some gelatine sometimes, nata de coco and kaong + can of local or imported drained fruit coctail in syrup + cream or other dressing. (Mint leaves arent even basic.)

I want to ask and no more experiment bec. lots wasted when my proportions or combinations dont work-) but with variations from our usual.
Here, avocadoes are often appreciated w/ milk and some sweetener, but not often in salads, tho i wish they didnt turn dark, and fresh pineapples of course wont do for they turn bitter mixed w/ milk. Thanks.

my faaaaaavourite salsa its got avocados in eat its yum!!!!!!
but this a recipe, is't not! anyway, a nice recipe to try...

u know sometimes when or after i read something, i think who to pass this on too-- a sister, friend, others? then i do not know where to post (naman, we say). anyway, then i;ll do here as its on a food thread.

many months ago, i came across a website where food combinations were discussed. this was similar to an anti cancer site previously visited too, where they encouraged ppl to eat melons by themselves, eat and not eat this with that, but i couldnt remember--unless i wrote, or read again. so i passed on the link to some family, and a couple (both so scientific ppl who need proofs and references) said thats nice, but sana (wish) there were references. i couldnt ask the writer, so i let it be.

recently, theres a cleansing/detoxing book i came across, and 1 of the writers is a certified nutritional consultant, who mentioned the "rule of transit" or the principle that every food has its specific transit time, that certain foods take longer to digest than others. Seems so simple, that liquid is quickest and animal protein takes the longest, but even some of the strictest raw foodists believe that fruit for dessert is healthy. We didnt realize that a fruit for dessert would go thru our system, but only get blocked by some protein main course. So the fruit sits on top of the protein fermenting, creating gas in our system, all the acidity that hurts so many of us and we didnt know (or believe)... and so on to the other consequences i am not able to discuss.

idk*, but the rule uses a few equations wc anyone here can remember and employ based on the fact that different foods call for different digestive enzymes, according to nutritionists:

protein plus carbohydrate or fat = poor
carbohydrate plus fat = good
nonstarchy vegs plus fat or carbohydrate or protein = excellent
mildly starchy vegs plus protein or carbohydrate = good

*when i first worked, someone said as far as i am able, not to use the words i dont know when replying to my boss. but to find out whenever possible what i can abt what they are asking for or about. now however, i see myself using it more often, bec. i really dont know and cannot find enof time to research (for u-) and would have if i could. but if u are able, then go ahead.

This is another of those sites i have come to learning on food combis. and that cancer site mentioned. Please tell what u think.
