So today I am smoking a turkey. This will take about 6 hours on a Traeger Grill. The link to the recipe is below.

Will provide pictures throughout the day
Good stuff, especially leftovers with some A1 sauce or even barbecue sauce and two slices of sourdough bread with mayo ....mmmm yum! Leftover turkey sandwiches are the best!

Haven't even thought about the left overs lol. You are right though. This isn't a full turkey but will still be good.

I used to smoke crawdads......... but it was so hard to keep the durned things lit!

Is it wild turkey? As in you hunted it/bought it from someone who hunted it in the wild or farm raised/processed from the store?

It's a store turkey so processed. Would rather have non processed but not always available.

I've never been turkey hunting. :)

Then here is your big chance. They're running around all over here. I saw a bunch of them in a field a few days ago. And they're BIG. Not like the puny turkeys they sell at the grocery stores.. lol

GMO turkeys? Lol...after all they say you are what you eat so if they eat GMO grain they will be crazy abnormal big! hahaha
