I don't like hot cereal. I just don't, but oatmeal is good for me and sticks to my stomach. So here is a recipe for those who don't like hot cereal or for people who don't have time to cook the breakfast.

In a plastic cup, add 1/3 oatmeal. The cover the oatmeal with your favorite pairing. (I prefer strawberries or blueberries. Looking forward to peach season.) Just enough to cover it. Then fill the rest of the cup with milk, and stir. Keep spoon in the cup. Put in refrigerator and go to bed for the night.

It will be a serving of cold oatmeal in the morning. complete with spoon ready to use.

you are very brave!
I recall reading a story in a Readers Digest of a couple who moved above the arctic circle to live for a few years early in their marriage, the weather was so mild the game animals they were depending on hadn't moved into their area yet and they were starting to eat the staples they had brought with them to tide them over when the bride remembered what an old trapper had told them once, that the difference between what he wouldn't eat and what he WOULD eat was about 24 hours! lol!
Bon Apetit!
