I though I would share some thing I made the other day, I love food with a kick or some spice too it. So I made southwestern style corn with thin steak cut up.
SOUTHWESTERN STYLE CORN-
You will need
-Bell pepers red, green, and or orange.
-Salt to taste.
- Pepper peferably pepper in a grinder it gives a better taste.
- a teaspoon of oil any will work but Canola is what I use.
- Corn from a can drained or you can go the extra mile and use fresh corn.
- 1 jalipano
First Cut up all the peppers into small squares or into strips which ever u like best and the jalipeno as well. You will most likey use half or less off all the bell pepers which is ok just save the rest for later.
Put the oil in the a flat pan let the pan heat up a bit u know its hot when u sprinkle some water and you hear that sizzle sound. Then put the oil in and add the peppers first and then the corn. Sprinkle salt on the corn I put about 3 pinches of salt. Then add the pepper I like to put a nice amount i would say about half a teaspoon. And once everything is in it will cook pretty fast let it sit for 1min then mix let sit for another 1min then mix untill the corn has a nice grilled look to it and the peppers are fully cooked.
Then its ready to serve and dont be afraid to get creative.
-Thin Cut up steak
you will need as much meat as you like for two I would say 1lb of thin steak .
One orange
A quater of an onion
Salt
some mint for garnish
And if you like the left over bell pepers
All you do is heat up the pan on medium high cut the meat up into bits not too small just medium size
As the pan heats put the meat in a bowl cut up cut the orange in half and use the half and squizze the juice out into the bowl put some salt in a would say about 4pinches or so. Then cut the onion you only want a quater of it and put it in the bowl and the rest of the bell peppers if you like. Then the other half of the orange cut it into slices and when you put the meat in the pan put the slices in too. And it will cook very nicely and you will get that nice orange taste with some onion. ANd cut some mint up into thin bits and sprinkle over it the smell will really just bring it togther. AND THERE YOU HAVE IT ANF YOU CAN MAKE TACOS IF YOU WANT WITH THE CORN AND MEAT.
