Need buttermilk??

If a recipe calls for buttermilk, you can do this >>
Put 1 Tablespoon of white vinegar in a measuring cup & add regular milk
to make a cup, let it stand for 5 minutes....you will have a cup of
buttermilk. :)

I have brand new pair of summer shorts, I have worn them once and have discovered a stain on them.

I really don't know what it is, I think it may be paint, or putty or something. The shorts are black, and the stain appears to be a rusty orange/red type colour. I have soaked in stain remover, I have washed twice, I have soaked again with a different stain remover and napisan, and I have even tried eucalyptus oil, all to no avail.

Any tips on how I can get it out? If I can't the shorts are ruined, and I'm really ticked off because they are brand new!

My car was wrecked 2 years ago and had sit ever since with a busted window. Now, I've had the car repaired but there is a horrible Mildew Odor in it. The passenger's side floorboard had quite a bit of water accumulated in it and I also believe the water ran down in the dashboard seeing how it was the FRONT windshield that was broken by airbags. Does ANYONE have any tips or tricks for removing this awfully strong odor of mildew?
I pulled the carpet out and replaced it with one from a wreckers. Big job, you gotta pull out the seats and other tthings.

If you use peroxide it will eventually work. YOu need to put a bit on and let it bubble and then blot off excess then put more peroxide. Keep doing so until stain is gone. If blood is fresh rinse under cold water but NEVER rub the stain. Then soak clothing in tide and cold water overnight. This should take stain out.
