Poor man's or lazy man's casserole
Actually, I made the name up. Easy and not bad eating, and leftovers reheat nicely in the microwave.
1 box Kraft Dinner (prepare as usual)
250 grams (1/4 lb?) hamburger meat (I use lean)
1 1/2 cups frozen broccoli/cauliflower mix
1 small can of peas, drained
1/2 cup cubed or shredded cheddar, orange or white your choice
Fry hamburger and put aside. Prepare the KD, adding frozen vegetables to the boiling water to cook with the noodles. Drain. Add the hamburger, peas and cheddar. Stir everthing until cheddar is melted and voilą a poor man's casserole. If you like it cheesier, just add some more cheddar.
You can substitute a cubed chicken breast for hamburger if you prefer.
Even healthier if you use the whole wheat KD.
