So, now that I am on the weekend work crew, I am home during the week and have agreed to make dinner 4 nights a week(because other people in this house are lazy as heck and feel like they don't need to make dinner, because they are dudes and they work "all day" to pay the bills, when really all they do is sit at desks all day, then come home and read or play on their computers and watch tv..... and a sister in law who takes advantage of the fact that there are 2 other women in the house so she doesn't need to cook or clean for her husband or child-annoying).

I have a million cookbooks, but this household is picky as heck. One can't have gluten, one won't eat gluten free meals because they look gross. One is so picky they had never eaten pork or venison- which we grew up on- before she married into the family and never had heard of asparagus or eaten fresh peppers or tomatoes out of the garden(she basically grew up on boxed meals- mac and cheese, ramen noodles, etc). And the other is always on some new diet so I never know what to make.
I have tried the whole let them cook for themselves, but the dudes get mad because they work hard all day and are tired when they get home. But yet when I work on weekends(12 hours shifts, of hard manual labor) I still have to come home and make a meal.
The one thing I have down to perfection is meatloaf and baked potatoes, but it gets old after awhile, I LOVE pasta, but no one else does(the gluten thing and the diet thing).

So I just need ideas that will please everyone and not have to make 4 separate meals.
Thanks, everyone! :)

Spaghetti, but make the noodles gluten free, and don't tell the person who hates glueten free stuff (Only tell the one who has to have glueten free, oh and the diet person. She/he should be able to incorporate that in their diet..)

You know what I would do, I would make my OWN food and leave their food to them. Why do you have to do it all? Theyre getting a free caterer every night, of course they'll abuse it.

I don't mean to sound harsh, I love cooking for others. I am the main cook between my husband and I, and I enjoy cooking for my entire family, but Ive also lived with other people in college who had religious, allergy and picky eating habits. Majority of the time I lived with guys, and because my mother taught me to cook at a very young age, all 4 of my flatmates frequently tried to bribe me to make dinner for them all, since sometimes if I was in a good mood Id make treats (not dinner) for everyone. But in no way would I make dinner for everyone, it would just encourage criticism and abuse of my serving them, and not to mention laziness. Not to mention, what if I made a mistake and someone got sick because of something I accidently did with the food? I don't want that kind of responsibility. And I HATE enabling people esp their laziness, you are never doing anyone a favor especially a grown adult who should know how to look after themselves like that.
