Hobo meals are what they are called East of the Mississippi River. Bush meals West of the Mississippi River.

they are my favorite meal.

Get a big piece of ten foil and put a hamburger patty in the middle.
(make hamburger patty they you would like them on the grill. i.e. with peppers, seasonings, etc)
peel potatoes and dice them up into cubes, put them around hamburger
get green beans, strain them if in a can, spread them over potatoes and hamburger.
one spoon of butter (this prevents potatoes from sticking to ten foil)
add other stuff if you want to, salt, pepper, chopped onions, peppers, etc.

wrap up the ten foil, put another piece of ten foil over the top of it, turn upside down and wrap that ten foil.
put in over for 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours depending on your oven. you may have to experiment with temperature of oven, when potatoes are done the meal is done.

i like to put catchup on all of it, when done.

PS, as we are speaking of bush meals:

If you want eggs out there (and have something to use as a frying pan), you can crack eggs onto a jar that can be tightly secured.
Add any spices you might like to it.
