Peach Cobbler with can peaches
Ingredients
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup butter, room temperature
1 cup self-rising flour
1 ½ tsps. Cinnamon
1 cup milk
1 tsp Vanilla

2 (15 ounce) can peaches

Directions
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
  • In a baking dish or 9 inch square pan, cream together sugar and butter.
  • Mix in flour and Cinnamon together
  • Mix milk and Vanilla together
  • Then mix everything together until smooth except for peaches
  • Strain 1 can of peaches and throw out juice. Then Pour peaches from both cans and juice from 1 can over the top do not mix.
  • Bake 45 to 50 minutes in the preheated oven, until golden brown.

Can this be done with fresh peaches that are freshly chopped? canned peaches sometimes have preservatives and chemicals in them.

If using all purpose flour add 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder to flour.
