1/2 - really ripe, large, sliced, frozen banana
1 - container Activia yogurt (favorite flavor)
Milk

Add bananas and Activia yogurt to the blender, add enough milk to cover. Blend well. Add more milk if you need to. Serves one.

Note:
You can add any type of milk you like. I'm lactose intolerant so I use lactose free chocolate milk. I use a bullet blender since I only make it for me.

Yup! It's a healthier alternative. It's especially helpful for those who are lactose intolerant, like me :) The way the bananas are, it makes it seem like there is ice cream.

This looks interesting. I used to eat Activia yogurt however it didn't help me any. Seems like it'd be a good idea for those that need to stay away from too much dairy.

Just out of curiosity, and I'm sure others may wonder about this as well. Have you tried/used something other than the Activia yogurt? For example, just regular yogurt, plain, flavored, with fruit in it, etc? If so, what were the results and how did they compare? If not, then do you think it would be the same? Some people aren't into the Activia yogurt, some are, and some like myself, are just curious :) this idea does sound absolutely delightful!

Oh yeah, does the banana have to be frozen, or can it be fresh? If you've tried it both ways. Sorry, I'm just a curious person lol

I haven't tried other yogurt, but I'm sure it would be delicious! Keep in mind you need to harmonize the flavors. You must use the frozen banana. It's what makes it seem like there is ice cream. (Any results of you trying new variations, please tell)

Yogurt, unless said dairy-free, isn't dairy-free. >.< I should know, I pretty much have to be dairy-free. =\

For me, Activia is the only yogurt I can eat without a lactaid pill. My mom thinks its the bacteria in it.

Okay, this sounded so yummy, that I went out and bought a blender, bananas, and Activia yogurt tonight, because I MUST try it! Is there a specified amount of time it takes to freeze the banana? Can't wait to try it :D

Probably, yogurt does that. All the cultures in it are very easy to digest. They help your digestive tract. Which, people are allergic to milk because they can't properly digest the proteins and sugars in cow's milk, therefore causing a negative affect on the body, therefore, making you allergic. Some people are worse than others. I'm probably worse. So I'd have to do goat's milk yogurt. Much easier on the stomach. :)

I usually freeze my bananas overnight.
