Ingredients

1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup chocolate chips
one 8-ounce package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup powered sugar
1 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 9-inch graham cracker crust
1/4 cup salted peanuts, roughly chopped

Directions

Heat the milk in a small pot over low heat until warm. Remove from the heat and stir in chocolate chips until melted and smooth. Set aside to cool slightly; mixture should be thick but have a pourable consistency. In a large bowl using an electric mixer on high, beat together the cream cheese with the peanut butter and powered sugar. In a separate bowl, beat the heavy cream until doubled in volume and soft peaks form. Stir one-third of the whipped cream into the peanut butter to lighten it. Fold in the remaining whipped cream until combined. Spread into the graham cracker crust. Pour the chocolate over the top and sprinkle with the chopped peanuts. Place in freezer to set up, about one hour.

It sounds absolutely delicious but one CUP of cream plus cream cheese plus peanut butter and a brand new wardrobe!

There was a restaurant that served a peanut butter pie that made our boring drive to Seattle worthwhile. It was a graham crust with a filling of carmel pudding with lots of creamy peanut butter. We could have it with ice cream or whipped cream.

Do any of you have a recipe for a pie like this?
