Anyone heard of these? Perkins makes them. I'm not sure where they come from. And it seems like they have another name. But piekin is the only name I've been able to come up with. Here's what they look like:

I've heard them called "free-form" pies, "open-faced" pies, or "lazy" pies. That one looks delicious!!
