This recipe was born of boredom and looking through the fridge. I refuse to make green beans any other way now!
1 can green beans
1 can frenchs fried onions - cheddar flavor
1/8 cup light brown sugar
1 can turkey gravy (I use the heinz one)
Basically it is just swapping the cream of mushroom soup for turkye gravy and adding the cheddar onions, but the difference is amazing. I tried chicken gravy, it was good too but turkey is the way to go.
First mix the gravy and brown sugar together, then add the green beans and about half the can of cheddar onions, stir and let set out for 10-15 minutes. Bake at 350 for about 17 minutes, then add half of the onions left on top and bake for another 5 minutes.
Let cool, enjoy!
