Crumpets

250 ml Rice Flour
175 ml Pea Flour
10 ml Baking Powder
1 Egg
tsp Salt
Tbs Castor Sugar/Honey
5ml Vanilla Essence
250 ml Water

1. Sift all Dry incredients together
2. Beat water and egg together
3. Add to dry ingredients and mix well

Use butter in a non-stick pan and Walla! Enjoy!!

Sister, I am going to try this. Can you make a sandwich with this bread? My son is looking for a gluten free bread to make sandwiches for his lunch at work.

i am gluten free too. there is a book call gluten free for dummies it has a great bread recipe among many others. ihoe it helps

Like to make this, tho not many options with other flours as pea flour isnt available here. There may be cassava flour, but often just wheat and rice are mainly accessible. We had pancakes or hotcakes we called them, but i just learned crumpets are the smaller pancakes or flapkacks=)
