No more Christmas for Christians? BJP Govt makes Christmas "Good Governance Day"

If the Union government has its way, CBSE schools may have to remain open on this Christmas.

The Union human resource development ministry wants to celebrate the birthdays of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Hindu Mahasabha leader Madan Mohan Malviya by observing 'good governance day' on December 25. The BJP government wants CBSE to carry out various activities, like an essay competition, so that students' participation increases.

So It isn't bad enough that they're trying to forcibly convert Christians, now they're planning this sort of thing to take away what matters to Christians in this manner. :(

It's a great cultural and religious attack in the most subtle way to demean our festivals.

Being a product of CBSE and being one of the largest boards of education, I can only imagine how sad it would be to be a Christian student in school.

The government celebrates all religious festivals, but to push this to the sidelines??

Smriti Irani and the HRD ministry can't get more Hindutva than this :(
