You bring up a good point. I chatted with a missionary in a 3rd world country who was in a village where the people ate the natural foods found and grown there. The women carried heavy water pots on their heads, the men could lift very heavy logs and make strong houses, etc. After about a year or so there, the missionary had introduced American sweets, hamburgers, processed foods, soda pop and more for his own diet and had shared with the village. Cases of food were donated to this 'poor suffering village of lost souls". In no time, the people began to gain weight, their endurance got weaker, their stamina suffered and the people seemed to 'get lazy'. So much for the Western World diet.

People in Africa live from the land and they are use to it. Unfortunately there are countries like Zimbabwe and Ethiopia that really struggle but Africa is a gift from God, if people living here could figure it out, Africa will be the breadbasket for everybody on earth.

Yes as agriculture is becoming lesser & lesser everyday with population increasing the next shortage would be for food & land. Man is becoming greedy for their own self existence forgetting the Creator & Creations.
The waste of food & water on the other side is a thing to be thought about.
The other day I was in a training in a conference hall, bottles of mineral water was kept for each delegate attending the training. Hardly some had left the room emptying their bottles. The others just left the bottles with one sip taken, halff empty etc. What can be done all those left overs were thrown off. Wastage of pure drinking water a precious resource... :(
