I'm assuming it's so the Indians can have a place where they can speak in their native language(assuming English is not it) if they wish, but I am not certain.

Oh, well, since we've started posting pictures now, I might as well take the chance. Hmmm... oh, here's one!
India just finished celebrating The Festival of Lights, known as Deepawali or Diwali. Although I can't stand all the noise and pollution with millions of firecrackers in the air every night for a week or more, I did find this picture quite beautiful. It's a satellite picture of India during Diwali.

I'm terribly suspicious of this photo....I believe it may have been doctored. Those are NOT turnip leaves. I considered the possibility that perhaps they are merely beets masquerading as turnips, but alas, those aren't beet leaves, either.

Please only post authentic turnip pictures in the future. Thank you.
