In August 2008, i ran away with my sisters and my dad and mom run away in another direction, we went to a nearby Jungle, when people came in larges numbers, with weapons we in that jungle stayed there without proper food and clothes, i was wearing the same shirt and pant for about 15 days, i was about to be bitten by a snake, i had brain malaria, there was severe stomach ache because of the food that i ate their. my sisters were in constant fear, we went to our own house after 2 months, the people were searching us, you know many people refused to give us shelter but God send some to give us food and shelter, our church believers backslided due to threat of life, our house and the church was destroyed, in other parts of orissa many things happened, to the pastors and nuns and to many brothers and sisters in christ, many were in Jungles, they were tortured raped in front of their families, beheaded, and many lost there property and were in shock, i wish i could show you the pictures and videos of the persecution

So on what grounds are you able to judge a "true Christian" from another?
I would say by their no condemning attitude, for they see it like God no one is better than another, and love all the same, in not taking away another's free will. Only stopping those that do take away others free will, if opportunity is at me to do so.

Not true there are people who say they are Christians and don't act Christlike and they know they don't and don't care. So it is not true that if you profess to be a Christian or whatever you are that you are a Christian or whatever. When it comes to religion, nominal is not an option or name-only, if you really believe something, you have to practice it and mean it. Otherwise you are not really into the belief system that you profess.

Is there not a difference in professing and possessing?

Yes, there is a difference between professing and possessing. One can be professing Christianity and still indulging in a life of sin. If you are ''possessed'' by God and profess to be a Christian and everyday try to be more like Him, then one is a Christian. God bless you, Homwardbound. Keep on growing in the Lord.

Thank you, willows of God
You too as I know Father never fails, to show us all truth that leads us into 100% trust of God in all things. And one day as we grow and learn from the hidden man of our heart, where we all serve God, sealed unto the day of our unredeemed bodies are made whole.
So for me I have learned in the meantime to be co-crucified with Christ, dead to self, and the deeper this has gone, the deeper the new me by God, by the resurrection of Christ, I see this new life that Christ came to give us, while the enemy is raging all around me, you and anyone else that is seeing this fact of the death of self, the flesh and then the resurrection of the Spirit of God
[h=3]John 10:10[/h]New King James Version (NKJV)

[SUP]10 [/SUP]
The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

In the resurrection in the Spirit of God never can any sin ever occur, only when one is not walking in the new life does one sin and this is of flesh since all sin has been

[h=3]Romans 8:3[/h]New King James Version (NKJV)

[SUP]3 [/SUP]For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh,

So I know my daily choice is to be co-crucified with Christ, that I might know the new life in Christ deeper and deeper
Dead to self, and alive to God

This type of persecution seems so unreal. But I know that every bit of it is true. I pray for you and your family that God may strengthen your spirits. My heart aches when I hear a brother or sister in Christ is persecuted for their faith.

I see. I haven't read and learned about Hinduism, but if you have (I don't know if you were from a Hindu background or not), but is it in their scriptures (Veda or other books) to be hostile or even violant to apostates or other unbelievers?

Not really in text, they're one of the only religions that doesn't seek converts. In practice, in the individuals mind I mean to say is very different. Muslims aren't exactly beloved in India for various reasons. But Buddhist and Janist communities exist happily in India, Buddha was even incorporated into Hinduism.
