Any idea of women being in a church position of authority over men is strictly unbiblical. The Bible makes it clear (outside of the case of Deborah who was a judge because the men were acting like idiots) that a woman is not to be a teacher of MEN in the church. Can a woman give her input in proper setting? yes. Should she Preach from the pulpit outside of special music and testimony hour? NO

I believe Katherine Kuhlman said in her book, that she believed God gave her a ministry because some man turned it down.
