Dear Sir/Madam,

My kind request to you please just dont type words to rise my hopes, i have faith in God but it is often pulling me down.........

As of now what God has bless me had been good in life.

I dont possess any vehicle neither two vehicle or four, it is coz we had too many financial probs due to which i never went for buy two vehicle, and i use to pray from long, and as time passed passed i thought i would buy four wheeler, and this dream is just pulling on for almost 15 years.

In recent years, say from 4-5 years i have been praying hard and trying to all possible things to buy one vehicle but it is not happening, even though of buying old vehicle also but ............

can any body prophesize when that vehicle which is eluding for years will be finally achieved ?

may God bless all who are reading this post.

Prophecy was never something like a psychic power that you call on at the time of your choosing. It was God moving through a person to speak His message. Not a parlor trick or a way to get your future told. Prophecy also seemed to mostly be geared towards a group, or nation. I think you need to go learn what prophecy actually was, as your request shows a complete and total misunderstanding of the concept.

Modern prophecy uplifts the body of Christ. I have been one that experienced a prophetic message through people who prayed over me by a prophetic ministry. I'll tell ya, they got everything they said correct so far, and they didn't even know me.

But I don't think someone can prophesy about a car, it is possible. Hmmm. That's something I don't know if you can do.

I think it best to pray over it, and if it is Gods Will then it will happen. no sooner or later of IF it happens at all. I don't think this is a matter of prophesy or "modern prophesy?"..

Mmmm I said modern prophesy because we don't got people running around saying thus says the Lord as we did back then. Somehow I took offense to that part. But I do agree, we should just pray over it. :)

offense to my misunderstanding? *chuckles.

yes.

continual prayers tends to lift my spirit if nothing else comes from it, at least a deeper love for Christ.

Well, i don't believe modern prophecy exists as a gift. God can choose to have things happen as He see's fit, but a an active gift, i believe they ended. And i'm not going to debate this. If you feel differently, fine, i'm not going to try to change your mind, nor do i want you to try to change mine. Just stating this to clarify my views based off of your response.
But, just to make a point, nothing in my original response to the OP disagreed with what you said, so i don't really get your point in feeling a need to take an opposing stance to it when there was no conflict with what you believe.

I don't want to debate either. I just don't want you to make it a definite answer to leave this brother not encouraged. I don't want to force any belief. This brother believes it just as most of do. :)

Sorry, if I took offense to the first post I directed to you, I can get offended by sarcasm and joking in the next. Bless you though. :)

Correction isn't always encouraging. Neither is it forcing. God corrects us when we need it. I actually feel my response was correct and not at all unbiblical.
And, if you read, i did not say anywhere in my original response whether prophecy was valid or not in modern times. All of my wording was in reference to the past. His request showed a lack of understanding of what prophecy is/was and how it functions so i sought to show him this Truth. I'm sorry if you feel correction and truth equate to forcing and not being encouraging.

[h=3]Habakkuk 2:2-3[/h]King James Version (KJV)

[SUP]2 [/SUP]And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
[SUP]3 [/SUP]For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

Stand on his word and it will come to pass
