    Thanks for the rep
  3. Have we placed ourselves at His feet today to be graced up maintaining our indefatigable love for Christ's will over our own? I pray it to be so! God Bless you all! May we all practice His presence daily and in all ways.
  4. Todays new word:
    INDEFATIGABLE

showing sustained enthusiastic action with unflagging vitality

    Unflagging mean: tireless LOL.
  5. As I start my Day I am reminded of the fact that God's grace turns us out with a strong family likeness to Jesus Christ; and that God never tells us what He is going to do. He reveals who He is. May God richly Bless us with reality today. The reality of Jesus Christ in all its glorious details! And may He Grace you up to fit His will perfectly for your life in cooperation with Him according to His will.
  6. Ok, I must confess something LOLOKGal - the real reason why you love the Dr. Peppers I've been serving you is because they are well-springs from Jesus Himself. Ain't no hydration like the Dr. Jesus! So, change the label to Dr. Jesus, as it should have been properly labelled that way in the first place, and I will drink them with you often.... LOL. Come on over anytime, Jesus is always up for where two or more are gathered! Amen! ... . He is the best!
  7. Hey! Slave! I finally logged on and decided to stop by for a quick Dr Pepper! Thanks! You're the best! Ta Ta for now.
  8. Reflections on your reflections LOL :"You also be ready....." (Luke 12:40). Our greatest need is a readiness to face Jesus Christ at any and every turn. This is not easy, no matter what our experience has been. This battle is not against sin, difficulties, or circumstances, but being so absorbed in our service to Jesus Christ that we are not ready to face Jesus Himself at every turn. The greatest need is not facing our beliefs or doctrines, or even facing the question of whether or not we are of any use to Him, but the need to face Him. If we do face Him - we will be ready to face anyone and anything at anytime.
  9. Reflections From Today...

Treat others with kindness. I was less than welcoming to a fellow peep who popped into a thread. I thought it funny to be a bit cheeky with him in response to his careless demeanour, but upon my reflection, I realise that he may have been searching for help. I'm going to PM him to offer my support. Thanks for helping me to see the light, dear one. God bless you... Pure Sugar

Hebrews 13:2 "Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares."
  10. When we pray, we must remember three things. We must remember the love of God, which always desires only what is best for us. We must remember the wisdom of God, which alone knows what is best for us. We must remember the power of God, which alone can bring to pass that which is best for us. He who prays with a perfect trust in the love, wisdom and power of God will find God's peace.

The result of believing prayer is that the peace of God will stand like a sentinel on guard upon our hearts. The word that Paul uses is the military word for standing on guard. That peace of God, says Paul, passes all understanding. That does not mean that the peace of God is such a mystery that man's mind cannot understand it, although that also is true. It means that the peace of God is so precious that man's mind can never produce it. It can never be of man's contriving; it is only of God's giving. The way to peace is in prayer to entrust ourselves and all whom we hold dear to the loving hands of God.

Where are we placing ourselves when praying?

by slave on March 6th, 2018 at 01:56 PM
(James 4:3): ... New International Version (NIV)

3 When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives......"

Do we think this only means things and desires? Or do we realize that anything outside of Christ's will - will not be done in the power of Prayer? Even certain happinesses.

The chain of prayer is:

1). Initiated by God. (this may surprise some of us).

2). Prayed by men, ( our volitional will being employed

Guard your Hearts, minds, and bodies!

by slave on September 2nd, 2017 at 08:43 AM
(Luke 18:9-14):

Jesus told this parable to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and treated others with contempt (vs:9 ESV).

I recently witnessed an encounter where someone entirely dismissed and degraded another person. “Leave now,” the instigator said, “you’re not wanted here.” I took great offense for the person who received such cruel treatment. But I also felt profound sadness for the individual who spewed such mean-spirited words. I know

"You are a good writer"; Or, "I felt the touch of God!" ?
