About:
Here is my testimony.

I was saved in 1993. In 1992 when I was a senior in high school I had an interest in satanic music. I began listening to it and I began wearing satanic band shirts. I would draw pictures of pentagrams and mail them to my mom’s Christian friend.

I began drinking booze at 18 or 19 years old.

After I graduated from high school in 1993 I moved into my friend’s house. The family is Christian. The family was worried about me because of my involvement in listening to satanic music and the clothing I would wear inside the house. The mother also told me she could feel a spiritual presence inside the house. The family had taken me to a drama named Heaven Gates and Hell's Flames. After the play was over I made the decision to turn my life over to Christ and I was saved. I give thanks to my friend’s family for driving me to the drama so I could give my life to Christ. I was a member of a youth group after I was saved. According to 2 Corinthians 5:17 English Standard Version (ESV) - 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. That is what happened to me when I was saved on that day.

Ever since I was saved on that day I have had trials and tribulations, failures, separation from Christ, backsliding, baptized 2 times, attended a few denominations. My biggest struggle during my Christian life was drinking booze. I got to a point in my life that separated from Christ because of my drinking problem. I got to a point where I drank every day. I finally hit rock bottom. Then I decided I had to attend rehab for a week. Before I went to rehab I had taken a Holy Bible to rehab. When I was in rehab I prayed to God and read the bible.

I have been sober for a few years. I do not recall the exact year of sobriety. I haven’t picked up a drink ever since I left rehab. In my heart, I believe God wanted me to attend rehab so I wouldn’t kill myself drinking to death. I haven’t attended one single AA meeting ever since I departed from rehab. I thank God that I have no need in attending in AA meetings. I still have made mistakes during my walk with Christ and the good news is that I haven’t picked up a drink.

What I have to say is I thank God to this day because of his eternal security. Also, I believe that if I wasn’t saved in 1993 and have given my life to Christ I would have been dead and living in a casket.

My current religious affiliation is Christian Non-Denominational.

I am a 2005 US Army Veteran. My enlisted MOS title was Infantry in Ft Benning, GA. During my enlistment, I was baptized Christian Non-Denominational.

I am a self publisher. I have self published 5 books and they are no longer in circulation. I used my PC to write and self publish books.

In 2012 I became an ordained minister with the ULC in Modesto, CA. Separate from becoming an ordained minister I received a Doctor of Divinity Certificate D.D. and a Pastor certificate from the ULC in Modesto, CA. Both documents are accredited by the International Accrediting Association (I.A.A.), which is the accreditation arm of the church. This means that the course, degree, or title has been approved and endorsed by the I.A.A. by authority of the Board of Directors. The church has been in existence since 1959, retaining records of all ordinations and degrees issued since then.

I am a student with the online bible college Christian Leaders Institute. The school is accredited through The International Association of Bible Colleges and Seminaries (IABCS). I am currently enrolled in Enterprise and Ministry and my goal is to earn an Enterprise Basic Certificate and an Enterprise and Ministry Certificate. The current certificates I was awarded with CLI is a Commissioned Pastoral Diploma and Continuing Ministry Diploma. All the tests are open book and that was the only way I passed the classes because I found all the answers in my PDF's in the class.

I am not active in the church. I wasn't granted a gift for preaching. I watch sermons on Youtube. I was diagnosed with agoraphobia/panic disorder. I also have a learning disability and an introvert personality.

I enjoy computers, praying and reading the bible.

Thank you for choosing Christian Chat. Have a blessed day.
