Hi, I am Will. I was born into a Christian family. My parents were foreign missionaries in Colombia for 25 years and Peru for 2 and a half years. During the 8 years in Colombia and the 2 and a half years in Peru, I went to church on Sundays as well as attended Sunday school. I realized that singing the songs about God, reading His Word, and engaging in corporate praying to Him didn't make me a Christian. So in Peru, a missionary family called the Fullers were having family devotions and on one of those days I decided to accept Jesus Christ as my personal Savior and sovereign Lord, that he died on the cross for my sins, and rose again on the third day in 2002. After a few years in the United States, I got baptized and emerged as a new individual. But that is when my struggles began. After many years of being a Christian I was not prepared for the addiction that I was going to have in a few years. After that someone told me about some pornography site, thankfully I never tried it. But at the age of 16 I became enslaved to pornography. One time I got off it for three months. Right now, I have been off pornography for one month, my mind still is not as pure as I want it to be, I am listening to Christian music, reading Christian books, etc to fill my mind with good thoughts and God's word so that when the temptation knocks on my door I hate the sin and do not want to give into it. Prayer would be much appreciated while I continue to be of it. I used to play soccer, read books on UFOs, etc. Nowadays, I play Star Trek Online, read Christian books, science fiction books, watch Star Trek, and read the Bible and learn something new everyday. P.S. There is more about me, but you will discover it when I am typing in chat or if I ever try again to use the mic or webcam. God bless.
