We are to "Google" to see if the bible can be trusted? Which websites can be trusted? If you cannot trust the bible to be 100% true, then you have no final authority. And when you have no final authority to turn to....you become the final authority. No thank you.

That’s the point. Why pray and fast for someone’s salvation if God has already elected to save them before the foundation of the world? Why pray at all? For a Calvinist, prayer cannot change anything for all things have been ordained by God.

Maybe it’s referring to the promise of life to the Gentile world. Israel was supposed to be the light to the Gentiles, so God is fulfilled that promise through Paul ministry to the Gentiles.🤷🏻‍♂️
