- Hi, I am Will. I was born into a Christian family. My parents were Christian missionaries in Colombia for 25 years and Peru for 2 and a half years. During the 8 years in Colombia and the 2 and a half years in Peru that I was there, I went to church on Sundays as well as attended Sunday school. So in the town of Satipo, Peru, a missionary family called the Fullers were having family devotions and on one of those days in 2002 I decided to accept Jesus Christ as my personal Savior and sovereign Lord, that he died on the cross for my sins, and rose again on the third day. After a few years in the United States, I got baptized and emerged as a new individual. But that is when my struggles began. After many years of being a Christian I was not prepared for the addiction that I was going to have in a few years. After that someone showed me a pornographic photo told me about some pornography site, thankfully I never tried it. But at the age of 16 I became enslaved to pornography. One time I got off it for three months. Right now, I am still struggling with this, fell on November 2021, and then the old habits began again. Since my mind still is not as pure as I want it to be, I am listening to Christian music, reading Christian books, etc. to fill my mind with good thoughts and the Bible so that when temptation knocks on my door I am able to hate the sin and not want to give into it. Prayer would be much appreciated while I continue to struggle with it. I used to play soccer, read books on UFOs, etc. Nowadays, I play Star Trek Online, Star Trek: Alien Domain, Gardens of Time (not as much as I used to), read Christian books, science fiction books, watch Star Trek, and read the Bible where I learn something new a lot of times.
