.....I love being retired.....

Me too............I just wish there wasn't so much Month at the end of the money............ :)
You mean the money runs out? That's why my balance keeps getting smaller....I was wondering about that.... After all I still have a lot of checks.......So there is still money right?

Did not have icky looking gravy just potatoes....lol

Easter dinner kind of looked like this.....Turkey ham with green bean casserole and mashed potatoes and banana pudding made for us by my friend Dan while my daughter and I were at the pool spending mother daughter time together.... Jerry stayed behind to clean up Dan's mess as he broke the big measuring cup....glass everywhere and the sink stopped up because of too many potato peels down the garbage disposal.....lol poor Jerry will get to fix the sink today.....

Dinner on the other hand was very good and the pudding was homemade and not out of a box...yum....

Got the left over Virginia Ham from Sunday in a slow cooker with a couple of pounds of Navy Beans, some good spices going. The aroma is filling the house............man, I'm soooooooooo hungry. But have to wait 'till supper time, and for the cornbread to get done...............Think we'll have Tex-Mex cornbread tonight.

:)

Don't have pictures, but something I like to make every now and again..........breakfast or dinner.

I scramble up some eggs with bits of fresh pork sausage (I like Tennessee Pride Mild), and melt some Velveta, add a wee bit of Picante Sauce (mild) and pour it over a plate full of Lays Classic chips.

Mmm.......................love it

I was with you until you said velveeta. That is NOT cheese! They can't even claim it is cheese on the box - it is labeled "pasteurized cheese product." Kinda like potted meat is really cream of chitlins.
