Fruit of the vine.....we have a winner.... Your Blond tip is - If the Blond is 59 then she should be able to be your adopted mother....lol Psycomom and I can take it outside to hash it out as because of this thread it is all food related.........lol
hmmm perhaps joint custody? btw a little secret if i am at Psychomom's place all you have to do is start cooking hamburgers or saugage and I will be like those cartoons where the pie steam makes the person levitate from the smell.

Of course that's assuming Psychomom doesnt have a lot of kitty cats I can play with because then I am afraid you just can't win because I adore cute kitty cats

O.K. this is a copy from Cooking Skills thread that I will also share in our What's Cooking thread....Blond Style

I am a mood and cupboard cook....I know you are asking what that means? Well this Blond has to be in the mood to cook or you are going to end up with a can of soup or hot dogs....

My daughter, Melisa would ask what's for dinner and I'd say a concoction meaning you better like it and enjoy it as it may never happen again... I will look in the cupboard and pull out items that I like and combine them in any variety of ways and come up with edible dishes. When something turns out really good I try and make a mental note of the ingredients that were used in order to repeat that particular concoction.

One we like is cook enough cooked rice to fill a casserole dish, saute onions, green peppers, mushrooms, garlic with cut up smoked beef sausage, peel and cube small/med eggplant add jar of spaghetti sauce then season with salt, pepper, basil, oregano then mix together with the rice and put in casserole dish top with shredded cheese Italian blend then bake in oven at 350 for a half hour or until cheese has melted and browned a bit. Then eat.... yummm... Don't ask for measurements as the Blond concocts and does not measure....you just end up with a full casserole dish o.k. If you like more onion add more onion, etc....taste it before you bake it and if it tastes good then it will taste better baked....

There you go lesson 101 in mood, cupboard cooking, creating a concoction by Blond.....your welcome.

Wouldn't that be fun? But how do we get the Adirondack Mountains and the Gulf of Mexico together? I guess we could ask Dad He did say if we had enough faith we could move mountains right?.....lol I would be expecting a piece of that pumpkin bread if we were neighbors though....fresh out of the oven please with a nice cup of coffee and it would be my pleasure to give you some of my concoction just return the dish when you are done.....

I was the cat lady for a while as when my daughter and I moved into the townhouse we had 4 cats - her two and my two, but one by one they died off....well one I made my daughter get rid of he had personal potty problems and when he peed on my pillow it was you are otta here..... her cat her problem. She was an adult then but had a boyfriend allergic to cats so mom had custody that I relinquished back to her....

Just lost my Baby cat in July - cried my eyes out as he was the best of the bunch so now no more kitties at least until after a long maybe month long vaca next summer as I want to take an Alaskan cruise for a week (hopefully with tourist if he can get away from work) and then take two or three weeks driving trip (without tourist) to pick up some north western states on my bucket list.... That is if tourist will let me be gone that long since we will be married then. Sorry got carried away rambling about being the cat lady.....but now cat-less....sad....sigh...

I didn't think that the rice we had for dinner last night tasted kinda funny. What was that spice you dumped into it? Tasted kind hot and spicy. I don't recommend eating rice at 6 something am with coffee. No, really...I don't want any prepared this way, I like my coffee black. I am not drinking that stuff...

There are no items left 'cause I ate 'em. I need to put on some poundage.
